I remember you and I arguing that LeBron wouldn’t come here and would rather go somewhere like Houston to play with Harden and CP3. That was an unpopular opinion, but one we saw a lot of logic in.

Lonzo being awful on offence was a fun and heated debate. I was writing short story length posts for that against Real.

And don’t even get me started on debating on The Last Jedi. That is such a rubbish movie I just couldn’t accept those who said it was good.

In fact most of these great and at times uncomfortable debates were with Real. Hope he is doing well. But that’s what a forum is, a whole bunch of different opinions on a topic. If you have some that are more extreme, enjoy arguing for them!

WMC tonight ..... I think my 1 month old virgin iPhone 11 Pro Max picked up an STD from Lakersball. ****!! Every time I try to go on the site with it starting about 3 hours ago I get routed to one of these "Congratulations you have a chance to win ----- " notices. Reset it and still the same thing. I can't get here from it now.

What antibiotic do I need to cure this? Help!

Not an android fan but it never happened with my old Sammy Note 4 that just died.

Is there some kind of virus protection app for iPhones, if I get it fixed, that any of you with them download to keep it from happening?

I had this too, it's one of your apps. Think about what apps you just added, right before it started happening, then remove it and see if it fixes it. I did and it went away. It's the porn app with Kobe's wife!!!!!!

Started off being for some new phone I had a chance to get if I answered questions and then became something to do with a Walmart thing. But I just went to check it again right now and poof .... it seems to be gone for now at least.

I had this same issue yesterday, and I let @Barnstable know about it. No seedy sites for me, and the issue doesn't occur on any other sites. It seems related to just this site for me so far when testing. I erased all history as recommended online, and it really didn't seem to make a difference. I had the same issue in both Chrome and Safari, but have had limited time to deal with a solution.

Now that I know I'm not the only one, I can't blame it on my phone. Thanks for posting.

***edit*** Late to the party. Glad there is resolution. I didn't want to post it prematurely on the forum in case it was an issue for me only. Thanks for checking into it.

 

i had that same issue. i managed to just out-last it by ejecting the screen over and over until the ad gave up. #bruteforceftw

anyway, my wmc: thought the officials really let orlando hack our guys last night, which was a big determinant in their getting back in that game, particularly in the 3rd. half of those turnovers were uncalled fouls. lebron couldn't get a whistle going to the basket. liked that at the end he just started bullying folks. you don't want to go the physical route against a lebron team.

 

I was having the exact same problem. Had to delete the shortcut I had for lakersball on my phone.

 

Barns found the add causing it from the site and beat it to death. All good now.

 

That's a tautology. Social media is a disease.
