We were 31st last year and we've fallen to 37th.

I'm not a fan of Obama even though I voted for him. He was a disappointment

37th is a terrible result... if you actually think the United States can't do better than that... I don't know what more I can say to you.

Fair point about not knowing your thoughts, although I assume anyone defending this administration or the neoliberal policies of Obama and the Clintons cares more about money than saving people.

I don't wave a white flag but it's like arguing religion with someone if they think this is okay.

I don't have time to reprogram the way people are entrenched in their thoughts, but I might have a small effect on their influence over the undecided.

Again, where are you getting these numbers from? The article you gave me (the wiki page) does not say this and it’s not current data.

You don’t have to assume. I laid out my thoughts and concerns on healthcare. We disagree on how to fix it, but I believe everyone on this board agrees that there is a problem.

Good health insurance doesn't really affect life insurance.

    --- North Korea (Ranked 157th)

    Yes it does

    --- South Korea (Ranked 11th)

Sorry, I just caught that browsing. I doubt North Korea is very open with stats, but that is a pretty huge difference for their neighbors.
    82.5 vs 70.70

Wowsers! Makes you want to ask some questions.

Ok, I had fun looking at some of the stats on that site, and I hope you guys don't mind me going slightly off topic for just a bit.

Here are the top populations in the world below, and then distribution of the population by age groups of a sampling of those top countries over 100 million after that.

Unfortunately with this generation's short attention span, will this ever be dealt with? Will the dishonest people finally pay a price?

People need to go down for this.

    Politics.....

The crap will hit the fan when trials begin. When these officials are convicted, I hope that most will see this for what it really is. But I have a feeling that the country will still be very divided. Many simply won't believe or acknowledge what happened.

I believe the Clinton's have bigger things to worry about. Mostly related to their connections to Anthony Weiner, Jeffrey Epstein, and the murky finances of the Clinton Foundation.

If anybody is going to do anything "dirty" against Spygate, it's going to be Obama. His administration had more to do with Spygate than Hillary, who left the State Department in 2013. Hillary's campaign paid for the Steele dossier, but there's no law against digging for dirt against a political opponent. Her campaign didn't lie to the FISA court. The FBI and DOJ did.

The arguments for why Trump shouldn't be the president for another four years is simply not even close to why he should be. The impeachment for simply stating that Joe Biden (who is corrupt) should be investigated is laughable. Joe "I like when kids sit on my lap" Biden admitted to holding the money hostage unless Ukraine fired their prosecutor who was investigating his son. A president should have the right to investigate claims against a former VP who could have been corrupt and operated on deals against the country's interest. Why would Trump need fuel to defeat Joe when Joe Biden embarrasses himself out there every opportunity that arises?

It's funny CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, and other news networks aren't playing this! All it does is help Donald Trump because when Joe Biden becomes the Democratic nominee, you know for a fact Donald Trump will have these videos airing on every commercial.

The impeachment will only help Trump. Democratics are running out of excuses. Before the Ukraine debacle, they had nothing. Ukraine debacle ensues and now they're running for a hail mary. Embarrassing, really. The amount of money and time being wasted trying to impeach Trump could have been used to fund many programs for the homeless and poor - the same money they claim should be used for helping people. How does impeaching Trump help people again?

Not to mention too many people believe Obama had nothing to do with this and would let the guy kill babies without finding offense in it. Obama was masterful in his ability to fill every branch of security and government with his people that worked for him and against Trump every step of the way. Most of them are still there. I mean come on, how many even realize that Horowitz is an Obama appointee??? Funny how the press fails to mention this and I do think this becomes a confusing mess for Americans who don't take the time to research what is going on.

And did you notice how the reason for impeachment just took a number of reasons off the table??? They changed the wording because they realized that it would lead to a Biden impeachment as soon as he could be elected.

The next Democratic President in office will be impeached. The Democrats have made it so.

I could say alot but it would just piss everyone off. Not towards you, towards both parties of our county, they both leave a lot to be desired.

I really don’t care that Trump has been impeached, not like he’ll be removed anyway, no one ever has been and Pence may be worse, all the democratic candidates suck as well. But, I did find this enjoyable because I still think Trump is a POS human being

Also thought this comment was true and it’s striking how off the deep end he’s gone as a person compared to how he used to seem

The internet is unforgiving. Sometimes I hope someone like Pelosi runs just so I can see the commercials to show her for what she is.

There are legitimately so few candidates that have kept their nose clean, and unfortunately politics is a glorified popularity contest that includes a lot of strategy and dirty games. It's pretty repulsive on every level.

I heard a quote decades ago from a French source blasting America for the way they deal with politics. The jest was, you created a system that the ONLY way a candidate can succeed is if they are corrupt and play dirty, then when you nominate them, you spend the rest of their careers trying to knock them down for being corrupt and dirty.
