We're on pace to win a championship here. The chemistry and roster construction is too good to mess with trades unless it's a no brainer home run IMO.

Wouldn't mind adding a piece though buyouts of course, but when things are going well, I don't want to make a trade just to make a trade.

i've liked marvin for a long time. not sure how much he's got left. crabbe is interesting as a bench scorer.

mkg has been dnp-cd a lot this year. if you want a wing defender...

We still have a lot more time left in the month of December; and while the roster construction may look good now, there is still areas that we can be exposed...

    Nevertheless, the reason you don't trade if you make a trade is because of the chemistry this team has built (they like each other);

Listed below is a small trade that big BIG dividends; that's what Rob needs to be looking for..

For example, let's rewind to 07...

"In November 2007, Ariza was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Brian Cook and Maurice Evans."

The problem as I see it is that in any realistic scenario that nets us a better contributor in trade, we have multiple contributors going out. We aren’t deep enough at any position to do that IMO.

it’s too easy to risk our already fragile depth, so I wouldn’t risk it unless the trade offer knocks our socks off as you suggested. With the fact that no team will want to help us get even better, I don’t see any of those trades going down.

Might as well stand pat other than a buyout

We are on pace to COMPETE for a championship. But LAC will be very tough, on top of teams like Hou and Mavs can challenge us. And then possibly having to deal with Giannis or Phi

We need a move or 2 I think. Our bench isn't consistent enough to compete with the Clippers.

Thanks for taking the time to correct that.

    No kidding?

No team will be wanting to help us. We are too good as is, so any move other than signing a buyout the other team would need to feel they clearly won. I see no moves where we don't give up multiple contributors for a single player, so that's out IMO.

Regarding the Clippers amazing depth, I don't know why this narrative keeps running. We aren't as deep, but we're really close, and they've lose games they shouldn't to a bunch of middle tier teams, and we have not. We're going 7-8 deep in the playoffs their 10th man won't matter barring injury. Eight players deep, they aren't better that this Lakers team.

Bury the Clippers in the next 3 regular season games and you'll see them fold like a chair. That's what that organization is. A folding chair.

Just saying I would be more confident with a move or 2

If we had Bogdan instead of Kuzma, I would say we're winning it all

I wonder if we could move Kuzma for Bertans and a small piece if we do it

Hahahhahahha. Bogdan is a max player who has handles, of course he would. If the Lakers had Giannis, we would win it all too. Come on.

We're saying the same thing - I am just splitting hairs; while I like the roster construction, I still think we need a wing and another ball handling guard...

If Rajon continued to play well, I would say we can get by with just a wing; unfortunately, Rajon and his body just can't last a full regular season anumore...

Rajon will be fine in the playoffs. No back to backs, no 3 out of 4s and he's only playing 20-25 min a game. Tonight was a precaution. They knew they were going finish the half, just made sure they didn't overdo it in case.

I would tend to agree - however, I am talking about actual games off...

Either way, I still think we need another ball handler.

Just in case, he breaks a finger, a hand, twists an ankle, etc

I like that kind of stuff on the right people. Rondo has done it twice in two seasons. I like Rondo for that.

    WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTT

    Max player?

One, are u thinking of Bojan on Utah? Because hes not even a max guy
Second, if you are thinking of Bogdan, the correct one on the kings and think he is a max guy, then you're delusional
