Dallas is a tough matchup for us...
Similar makeup with Luka & KP vs. LeBron & AD & similar role players.
Should be interesting to watch how this develops. Luka is only 20... o_O

And I had notions of handily breaking that record 33 game winning streak... Silly me. :)

Tough loss but it's going to happen throughout the course of the season - we need to start a new winning streak. Don't let one loss turn into two - and get some quality wins for once against quality teams, starting with Denver on Tuesday.

In a way, this was a good loss for us - if that makes sense. Also, Kuzma needs to get his head out of his a** -

Lastly, f*** Rondo. He sucks against good teams. I hope we learn this quickly and stop playing him so many minutes.

ALso - need to shorten this rotation - too many guys playing - hopefully AB will help normalize the rotation a bit.

They needed to lose. Too many bad habits forming. A loss or few will get their attention back.

f*** me if Rondo is going to be our backup pg for the rest of the year.

I would say dont play him 1 more second, but then offense is clunky and we dont even have Avery

But I rather us stop building these bad habits with Rondo and have Caruso in. At least we play defense that way

bound to lose one of these with how they've approached games. lebron seemed concerned ahead of this one and was right to be. puts a lot of pressure on the upcoming road games, too.

anyway, the offense was bad, and it put the defense in some tough spots.

im sure cuban put in a good tip to these refs cuz my goodness the third quarter was bad. all the nonsense calls for the mavs and no calls for lakers on there end deflated the lakers energy. it was like night and day. definitely helped the mavs go on that big run. I was like what court are we playing on cuz it felt like mavs had homecourt advantage with the all the bs calls.

It was fun having those long win streaks... but back to reality, as the schedule tightens up... teams hit mid-season form and most will have a much stronger game plan to play us, where as we were very different and hard to plan for early season, I expect to win 60%. With no consistent 3rd scorer it's just too hard.

As some of us said countless times before , we are not going to win a title with Rondo in the rotation .

Started the game off well. Started the second half horribly, looked like we forgot how to play ball out there for most of the 3rd. Offense was stagnant and we let Donic do whatever he wanted out there.

The 3rd quarter officiating was horrible. No doubt about that.

We have been beating up on some really bad teams. Our schedule has been a cake walk. While we aren't actually as bad as we were yesterday, it was a sobering reminder that we will not run away with the West and that when we have played good teams, we are 3-3. (I consider the good teams Dallas twice, Clippers, Heat, Jazz, Raptors)
