    #countyourblessings

Thoughts on Schroeder. He's an expiring...

good fit in terms of need, but we don't have the contracts to match, i don't think. not sure expiring does much for us, either. might as well take a guy with two years left, right? that's when lebron and everyone else is up.

btw, i'm not sure kcp is as big stumbling block as we fear. yes, he has a de facto nt clause, but if he keeps stinking up the joint, i could see him asking for a trade to a bottom-feeder (remember: he kicks a** in low stakes situations) to try and maximize his chances and nabbing a full 4-year mle next summer. situation is fairly fluid, imo.

reggie jackon's kind of a clone here, too. tim hardaway jr is more of a wing but can create his own (often bad) shots and put up numbers. his contract runs another year, though.

i'm still not ready to push panic button, though. and i don't see the obvious solution if we did.

Schroeder isn't expiring this yr, he does expire within the 2yr plan....but dont see OKC giving up assets to move him and I wouldn't want to take on his deal w/o assets

i don't see the need to demand a tax for a two-year deal given our cap/roster situation. but i do see a problem matching a 15-20per salary with what we've got hanging around.

i don't want to move green or bradley unless they get hurt.

vash mentioned burks the other day, i think. that's more realistic. i don't think gs has any long-term use for him, and he can put the ball on the floor and score. bad defender and erratic, but...that's the market.

As much as it’s a bit in how much you value Dudz on this roster. You acting like anybody that can give us minutes so that Bron/AD don’t have to is a 2-bit idea.

    Speaking of 8-bit...

i'd take the salary; we just don't have ballast. this happens with cap space plans. we don't really have bad contracts of our own to move. plus kcp and mcgee's odd terms make that really tough, too.

What 3 point shooter can we realistically go for in the future?

Cook or Daniels are the best bench shooter we have. Cook is fine, but his time will be so limited with Rondo back.

Need a 2/3 who can shoot it.

    Reddick or Korver?

Cook, KCP, 2nd, and cash for JJ. Will need a 3rd team for KCP. ATL (hometown) or a no tax state
Cook THT, and cash for a 2nd for Korver and Bender

I can really see the 2nd one making sense for both teams. Bucks have tons of 2s and 3s. Their only playable pgs are hill and bledsoe. What if someone goes down? Cook makes a ton of sense there.

    Get Iggy.

    Avery, Green, Lebron, AD, Mcgee
    Rondo, Korver, Iggy, Kuzma, Dwight

Thats our 10 man playoff rotation. Depending on the matchup, maybe we get a little but of Caruso in there and take out Mcgee

You just have to trade somebody don't you? Cook is expendable because Rondo is back who has something going on with his calf muscle or achilles? No man. Just stop. If you can do it for KCP go for it but that's not happening either unless Lebron and Klutch put the screws to him or maybe he has something going on with his achilles and can't play any more. Cook is a real nice player we have for cheap. Our 3 point shooting will come around better than it is now. Weren't you on the trade kick to get another ball handling guard in too? Now we ship Cook out and become one less in the ball handling department? And Kuzma you wanted to ship out after a few games.

They can’t do any worse, and have started the season horribly. He won’t get blamed for them sucking at least.
