It was smart not to play him if he needed a few more days. Not playing till Friday gave Bradley maximum days or rest considering a normal NBA schedule. Hard to get basically a week off with only missing 1 game.
Our terrible start vs Bulls could be contributed to Bradley's absence. It may be an overstatement of some sort to state this but I feel like Bradley's defensive intensity at the beginning of the game was noticeably missing.
I’m honoring dude’s personal request, so who wants to tell him that we have started every game poorly this year...and that was with Av starting @ the 1. We were down just 5 after the 1st and lost the 2nd quarter by 12pts. So maybe the bench’s/2nd unit’s defensive effort was the one suffering in Chicago. That being said, there is no doubt we miss Av’s defensive propensity. I mean he’s our...uh, wait is that right...uh, our 9th best rated defender...better than Daniels, Cook, McGee and...the Dudz??? https://stats.nba.com/players/defen...0&SeasonType=Regular Season&TeamID=1610612747 Btw: This is tongue in cheek, so please put down the pitchforks haha.
Bump for Avery Bradley's triumphant return. His numbers don't overwhelm in the box score but he just plays and fits so well out there. Great game by AB! Tremendous defense and we miss him dearly when he's out. As I've said before, he's become my favorite Laker this year.
AB AC AD should be in the starting lineup at all times. Who can we get for AE or AF or should we go AA route?
we knew he wasn't a great shooter from distance coming in. if he was, we'd have had no shot at him in FA.
He got off to a nice start offensively in the 1st Q. 12, 11, 16, and 9 in his last 4. That stellar tempo setting D and not being a liability on offense is huge. Hopefully he can hit the open J and some of those mid range ones to keep the defense honest.
I'm loving AB and I dig his mid-range jumper and tough D. He's such a great contributor. Always hustling!
And his hook passes to the bigs after they roll is becoming his go to assist move. They have a little zip to them. I dig it
