I’m baffled as to what’s wrong with McGee. He’s not a star, but he was rock solid last season with blocks, boards, and easy dunks. Where’d that go? So little is expected of him, we’ve seen he can do it, and yet here we are and Dwight is making him look bad in a shocking way. They suggested on a recent Locked On podcast that maybe he’s pouting again like he was when Zu emerged last season, but that’s not gonna get him more time. But they also pointed out that he and AD seem to get in each others way a lot going for boards and to the hoop, where Dwight will just go grab a board no matter where AD is, AD and Dwight are clearly the better pairing. I’m not giving up on McGee 5 games in, but damn something has to be up, he’s not playing just poorly, he’s playing as dumb as Shaqtin’ made him out to be, and again, that’s odd, because last season he cleaned that up big time.

Didn’t we get rid of Zu because of McGee’s pouting so he wouldn’t feel threatened?

I feel like that was one story floated out there, but I think in reality we just didn’t want to pay Zu, or knew we wouldn’t be able to afford him and keep our FA plan alive long term if kawhi didn’t sign. Maybe? I can’t fully recall, I know we dumped Beasley with him, but he could have been waived so it was totally unnecessary, so I still think Zu just wasn’t in our long term plans for some reason. I guess we wanted to go almost entirely the win now mode with vets.

If a rumor starts about packaging KCP and McGee, I’m not going to complain.

Lebron will become the Lesgue’s all time career leader in Turnovers by next year, and will likely put that record out of reach by the time he’s done playing. What a shameful record to have while he’s a Laker.

who cares if you get a triple double if you have 4 TO’s. It’s like he doesn’t even care. SMH

    - This one of the games AD should have played at the 5
    - We had trouble closing out to 3 pts shooters with 2 bigs on the floor
    - Didn't like the force feeding of AD on the low block down the stretch , especially with Bron having this kind of game

You guys complaining about Lebron are riding on the short bus tbh

No skills lol? To avg 27 on 50% for career and a better 3 point shooter than kobe and have that be his 2nd best skill is insane if he’s doing it with no skills

Yeah it's not like because his moves don't look pretty or smooth like Kobe or Olajuwon that he has no skill .

He improved in every area to become at least solid in every one of them through his career ( except his FT%)

I mean it's Game 5 of the season , it always take him a couple of weeks to get it going from the outside .

AD’s post hame looks fugly. If he cant out length you, its not pretty at all. Obviously it still works for him but not a big fan of how much we went to it down the stretch.

His game has glaring holes, and yet he puts up gaudy numbers.

some fans think that puts him above criticism, but it’s ok to knock your own

every player has room for improvement in their game bar none

Can we start any slower? We always give teams 10 to 15 pts from the start, then make a run to catch up.

can't keep fighting from behind - I think it's time to start Dwight - McGee and Kuz would probably fit a lot better coming off the bench together.

the O w/o james is astrocious, either force feed AD more or design better plays for him to create for others. Pretty much w/o James there's virtually no drive n kick, very little ball movt, just run clock down to last sec's and force up a bad jump shot

Yeah, they're been OFF. I'm fine with one one hitting and them rotating nights where one of them can't hit. But we can't afford to have neither hitting. Early it looked like they were above the Lakers shooting curse. Now, I'm not so sure.

I dont see the ball mov't to get them open looks, both seem to have to generate their own shots which isn't good thing for them
