6 and counting ..... heading for 12 .... just rearrange the paragraphs. Or copy paste them if enough time lapsed.

Getting any big contract with capspace means we can flip it immediately. No 2 month wait time.

Absorbing a big deal makes it that much more easier to smart match for star salary.

Absorbing big money also means teams that are hardcapped will drop incentive for you to take it on. Replenish assets lost in the AD trade and if a deal comes up to make us better, that asset gets rerouted..keeping those assets liquid.

The thing about big deals is that at some point said player must have balled out or must have known Mitch. If it’s the former, they can still meet our bottomline here. Whiteside probably means no Boog. So having Whiteside/McGee means now we go to Noah instead of Dwight now. That puts Noah behind AD and slides Kuz to back up Bron...that alignment is far better than the depth Dudz provides us there. Oh and of course Whiteside helps with the whole AD not wanting to play at the 5 thing.

Meanwhile sit on Whiteside or a contract like his and wait for that next disgruntled star to pop up. My endgame has always been 3stars. Cause even if that 3rd star isn’t Kawhi, you can flip em. How many times was Blake and Butler flipped?

You can’t flip Green for a star. You can’t grease any trade cause we have no additional picks to spare.

We’re essentially stuck with what we have. It’s no longer liquid.

But you clearly don’t get it (doubt it, you’re too smart not to) or don’t want to get it (yeah it’s definitely this one). So hey let’s keep attacking his argument with “he’s a Magic stan”.

But if you liked that we use up the cap the way we did, that’s your preference. Mine was still having the ability to go get a 3rd max. So again none of it us right or wrong, but I believe a 3rd max guy helps stagger the responsibilities of our stars, helping them all stay relatively healthy as we head to May. That’s the reason I prefer it cause I want anything to strengthen our title chances. If one star falls, we still got 2...if 2 fall, that’s just bad luck.

Let’s see it was July and now it’s Oct...carry the pumpkin and subtract the fireworks...yeah, I don’t think that adds up properly. It just feels like 6 months...cause you’re thinking about last season and how fans were complaining it was a lost season...but hey, at least we had a means to improve. Now...not so much.

Dude you started right after the last game of the season in April. Oh right .... sorry that was just the Magic (being magnanimous) defense early on. My bad.

We weren’t going to have the assets for a third max after trading for AD, and the market is bare anyway. 2 year deals were smart, and the late first we may have picked up isn’t enough to get a third star, either. At least green is our third or fourth best player and made sense on our roster.

As I've said: Green, Kuz, and Iggy should be enough; if you want to add another pair of capable legs, bring Norvell up to replace KCP ( in January), if he warrants it, and I think he will.

You can try to bring in another creator; possibly

    Puzzling case that Crowford.

Amazing handles, a great shot... a good, may be even great, scorer; not a turnstile on D. Never quite got it all together, has he?

It’s kind of fascinating to watch who and who doesn’t get opportunity in the twilight of their career. He’s one you would think would still be in demand by a contender, but maybe he’s a midseason pick up

you sure about the "not a turnstile on D" part? as for his shot, you must only see his good gm highlights and never pay attention to the entirety of his gm, I see some Pho gm last yr where he'd dribble around and kill clock to shoot a contested air ball

zero interest in d; specialized in doing the spectacular whilst failing to do all the regular important stuff for winning games. he and jr smith and folks are the antithesis to danny green and wes matthews and folks.

occasionally, one of their souls gets saved (like terry in dallas or, currently, lou with the clips), but most often, they end up in china (marbury, stephenson).

I think Jrue gets traded this season for more young core pieces. I’m sure he’ll figure it out but he’s struggling a bit with the new players. Ball’s the trigger guy and the ball sticks a lot with Ingram.

Lakers are one disgruntled third option player away from being complete.

Be ready in case that guy in OKC says something. I wouldn't be surprised. And he is what we need right now too.
