I went to Pomona today to attend the annual RV show there at the Pomona Fairgrounds. The wife and I are considering picking up a B Class, which is the smaller type built off of a van chassis. Anyway, great show, and lots of great RVs. Most of the new ones were way too expensive for my budget, so I asked each dealer if they had any good deals currently on a good newer used model. One dealer told me that he knew of a very interesting deal from his friend there representing Pleasure Way. So he took me over and introduced me to the guy with the deal. Turns out, it is a like new 2011 model just like I'm looking for. It was recently sold to this dealer by the Buss family. He claimed it was owned by Dr. Buss who used it to drive from one Oceanside beach front home to some other beachfront home he owned. It was registered in the name James Buss, which could be that Jim did the purchase for his Dad back in 2011. Anyway, it's a nice unit and I'm now negotiating with the guy to buy it. He told me he could get me a couple of tickets to a game thrown in on the deal. Hope it doesn't turn out like that Seinfeld episode when George bought "John Voight's" car.
Dope! It must be a really nice RV if Dr. Buss drove it. I wish I could buy one myself. I've gotten to the point in my life where being in nature is much more appealing than it use to be, and the idea of being able to drive wherever and camp sounds like a dream.
Yeah it's sweet. Plus he added a killer sound system. That's why we are looking that direction. I camped and wilderness hiked a LOT when younger, but my wife doesn't. So this would be a way we could both enjoy being outside together.
