because otherwise we'd have thought a toilet was drinking water?

if the word "drinking" was missing, maybe kerr's joke lands. this is more like his d than his three.

at this point, shump may have given up some cash while waiting on the big fake payday. i'd imagine at least a few teams might have offered slightly over min for him, right?

wonder if the lakers will consider bringing him in as an iggy placeholder.

I wouldn't mind it, but I would prefer a big and then a plamaker before a wing like Shump as Bron's primary backup.

Right now my concern is over-extending Kuz to be both Bron and AD's backups with Dudz taking on spot minutes. Shump as Bron's primary backup can have Kuz play more of AD's backup. Dudz can then split minutes with Shump at the 3 or Kuz at the 4 if the wings/power forwards they play against play more bullyish... leaving our pretty boys to play against more finesse opposition.

As for the Rox, they bringing in some former Lakers. Don't do it Brew...but Swag you definitely should.

Sign Felton so Haren won't seem by comparison as FAT as he is.

How many minutes do you think AD will be playing per game? I was figuring at least 35, which would only leave 13 left for Kuz. If Kuz isn't starting, and I doubt he will be, I think he needs more minutes than this. Having him as a main backup for LBJ and AD will likely only net him 24+- per game. I figure they will both be out at the same time in many games, especially ones that are not that close in the end. Kuz is young, he can play a ton and he needs the time and exposure. I guess he will get some minutes with these two during small ball lineups. I would just as soon not cut his minutes for someone like Shump, would need to be a more marquee guy for me to want to stunt Kuz's growth.

Ideally I want Bron & AD at 30mins per. We all know Bron can go the distance, but AD's only made it to the 2nd round of the real season.

AD is our focal point now and I want to guard dude's minutes for a trip into June. Kuz can get Bron some wind @ 20mpg and then get into the 30min+ backing up AD. If Shump or another wing cones on board, Kuz can primarily back up AD then.

As for the Boog 1.75m dpe, Nawlins will be directly competing with it if granted their dpe (more than double our amount and remember it doesn't prorate as the season goes on).

Freaking AD is young and just starting the early prime of his career. Have at least a little respect for history and some old school stones and don't be a P***Y on this team.

I'm not insinuating that AD is a puss, but with all do respect, we need to boot this bullish mentality that guys aren't tough if they are trying to look out for their bag and livelihood. Sorry Ox haha.

Dude is in a contract year and has requested to play the 4 and not bang with center types for a reason. He's just saw his homie turn the boogieman in having teams run from giving him that max bag.

I dont want to derail this thread, but keeping AD healthy should not only be his interest, but out interest as well. I'm not sure why y'all are eager to run him into a wall... especially in the regular season.

f*** seeding and a 74 win season...get him into May as close to a 100 and I'll take my chances with him and a healthy Bron taking us to the promiseland from there.

I get all that. Just playing you, "devil's advocate to that" and saying let's not forget that he is a young player. It's like Baseball, how many complete games do we see any more even when pitchers seem to have it going with a lead in the 7th.
