You are wanting your cake but eating it too. You give Magic the credit for good stuff but unload the bad stuff on Rob. That’s why I phrased it as who was actually in charge. The buck stops where it stops. Magic is responsible for every decision you listed above except the Moe trade because he was the boss then. Rob is NOT the common denominator. He was not the boss then, but is the boss now. Huge difference is in who is actually in charge when the decisions are made.
I feel fairly confident no one is going to be swayed by arguments pertaining to Rob or Magic at this point. This is not only beating a dead horse but the horse is mummified and they have built a pyramid to bury him in.
But dammit if you are happy with the roster far as our chance of winning a ring this year ..... PS .... Love Mag's quivering lip in your sig from the pain of the knife in his back
Oh swell. Now you've joined in the mocking. Et tu @Toklat ? JK .... thank you. Your posts from a coach's perspective .... up there from the frozen but melting tundra I always enjoy.
Hahaha...I feel like I'm in an episode of Black Mirror. @TIME how you replied with that post after reading my last post is a mind-f***. Please tell me where I am wanting my cake and eating it too? The common denominator from the last regime to the current one is Rob. How the hell can you even say otherwise. So if I see similar treatment in cap/asset management, that's most likely Rob having some of his imprint on it. Anyways, y'all can keep seeing and interpreting my posts the way you want. I just want the Lakers to be back on top and stay there. It wasn't going to be with a forced partnership between Magic/Rob...i see that now. But some of y'all refuse to see that it's not going to be with just Rob either. Our FO still needs work. I'll discuss that for sure. But I think I'm done discussing why some of you believe it's my duty and intent as a Magic fanboy to discredit Rob at ever turn. Sorry to throw a black mirror plot twist at y'all, but I actually want Rob to succeed. However, till then, why can't he team up with a CBA savvy Prez, unless of course yall think Kurt is that guy. Anyways, you barbarians can do whatever you like to your horses...just know PETA is watching...meanwhile I gotta go feed mine...who wants cake?
If we're doing well as a team and Vogel gets fired for no apparent reason other than this to make Kidd the HC for Giannis who we wouldn't even be sure he would come here....that's some dirty s*** right there that I couldn't get behind. No way.
