I'm late, but Houston got way better--if only because Paul can't stay in the floor.

I don’t know and I lightly doubt it will, but if he miraculously gets bought out, he’d more than likely come here. I see that happening.

We have two roster spots right? There's a chance that could end up being Cp3 and Melo....

Pretty sure THT will get that 14th spot, it’s extremely rare we don’t sign our 2nd round picks to at least 2 year deals. I don’t see Melo coming here at all, for any reason until at least some crazy mid-season speculation begins. CP3, if he’s bought out, I can see immediately the Lakers talk starting, but I don’t see how any team realistically buys out that much money. How does OKC buy him out to go away when they have traded their entire team away because they’re cheap?

I'm saying dirty without getting whistled for it. Sloan coached smart players, much as I hate to say it CP0 plays smart and dirty as f***

And I could be wrong, but I don’t feel like that’s the only time he did that, I don’t remember the one I’m thinking of being vs us. I mean you can say John Stockton was dirty, and you may be right, but he wasn’t dirty, a whiner, and a flopper, the trifecta of bad basketball traits. CP3 also seems to have people, or at least some teammates waving ‘good riddance’ wherever he leaves too. It’s not near Dwight Howard level, but outside of his banana boat buddies he doesn’t seem to have a ton of players on his side for any other reason than he represents them in the union.

SGA is a great young talent, and then 7 first round picks and 4 pick swaps! What a haul. I fully expect them to get more, one for CP3, one for Adams and possibly one for Shroeder/Gallinari. They’ll have 10 first round picks and another 7 of their own by 2026. There’s a good chance that some of those mid 20s picks come up real nice as Kawhi/Leonard and Harden/Westbrook start winding down and retiring.

He makes a good point about guys we didn't like before but accepted once they became Lakers. I hated Cousins and Rondo at earlier points in their careers but I accept them being on our team now. It's a valid point.

If Kawhi tried to get here next year, I would balk. If things changed and he wanted in down the road, well ............. maybe but I am still leaning towards, you had your chance and you blew it. That being said, you can't cut off your nose to spite your face. I won't look for this deal in the future, but will take it year by year and see where we arrive.

Who knows, there could be s*** between Kawhi and Lebron that made him NOT want to play with him. If he retired and/or went back to Cleveland and all of a sudden Kawhi wanted to play with Davis and Davis wanted him here. That would be something I would have to consider. Truth is, I would rather find the next guy in line who is too young now. Who will be the next Kawhi, that's who I want to target.

Aaron Gordon. Excellent two way player that can handle the ball and drop dimes. He is on a fairly reasonable contract and is still young. Works hard and is a leader on the floor. To me he is more versatile and more productive than Kuzma other than the contract differences. Chad forcier worked with kawhi in San Antonio one on one. He was an assistant to Vogel in Orlando. He said Gordon was of the same mold as kawhi and Shawn Marion. Currently being mentored by Tracy McGrady since the Magic organization brought him back into the fold.

westbrook is not that much of an upgrade over cp3. and not to mention he's on the downward spiral of his career entering 30. him and harden could either work out perfectly or it'll be a disaster

but i really hope okc keeps paul so he can rot there on a terrible team. **** him
