I never understood the hate for Chris Paul on here. Dude plays dirty, but he's far from the only one, and he's legally a midget so cut him some slack. Meanwhile, he wanted to be a Laker so bad he almost sued the league after basketball reasons. To say nothing of the fact that he was a straight BALLER in his prime. Wish we could have had him when it mattered.

Is twitter down? I didn’t get notifications from Woj or Shams about this. However when I checked, they did actually tweet this out.

I don't know if he wanted to be a Laker. But he sure wanted to play with Kobe. That's when the downward spiral all started. I still want to kick David Sterns a**.

So you’re not familiar with the heli-flopter, his constant whining, or that time he punched a dude in the junk in college? CP3 on the court is as big a POS you’ll ever find.

Yeah @D-Fish Man you even said you know he plays dirty. :D

That's why he's hated! His antics are utter garbage.

And yes I'll take him. F*** it! All in on the Hate Squad.

Harden wants his scoring titles and Russ wants his triple doubles. Let's see who will trip.

I don't think any of that is remarkable. We got spoiled in having a guy like Kobe who viewed flopping as a crime against the game. But most players flop, plenty of players whine, and we all did things in college we're not proud of. I like players that are, above all, competitive, smart, and gifted. CP3 was all three.

I read Bullock i having to redo his deal with NYK cause of his possible health issue, n sounds like it might be just vet min or exception $, why do we re-engage with him? He was hitting 3's at good clip before he got hurt, he's a big backup G/F

It is never, never ok to punch someone in the junk while playing sports. If you do that you’re a punk a** and I will never forget it, it’s inexcusable, shows your true nature as a person, and your character under pressure. The only time in life that is even acceptable is like if someone is trying to murder you and you’re fighting for your life, or if you’re in the cast of Jacka**. The flopping, he’s one of the worst offenders to ever do it, because like Harden he cheats the game, he uses flopping to gain an advantage regularly, not just as an occasional thing. And the whining, it’s incessant, he’s terrible, truly terrible. To quote Charlie Murphy, he’s a habitual line-stepper.

Apparently CP0 is owed $124M including the third year player option.

You think he'd agree to a buyout in the $60-80M range to play for a contender?

    He's talented, doesn't mean he's not a POS.

OKC pays him half, he signs vet min. So he has 60M to make up in 2 years

He gets a 2 year 40M next summer possibly? Probably a better case scenario, but teams are giving role guys 10-20M now with numbers also being so high.

20M loss to try and win a ring and not be in Oklahoma alone.

Bit what if OKC offers him 40M, does he take 40M less for all this? Or can he get more next year?

it s a possibility, but I don't see the rockets waving the white flag just yet especially with the road to the Ring being wide open this season.

In addition to everything else said here he’s a horrible teammate. Many ex-teammates are on record saying that. He is a piece of garbage in every sense. I hate this guy more than anyone else in the league... and as much as I hate the C Bags.
