Best news of all our signings?

Kuzma won't play any C anymore. That was a nightmare that Puke simply didn't seem to get...

With Cousins, McGee and AD no more Kuz playing the

I think if McGee doesn’t start then what was the point of resigning him. He didn’t resign thinking he’s gonna come off the bench. To be fair we didn’t have the depth we now have in the frontcourt, but what we saw from him last year I don’t think was an outlier. He doesn’t need to score to be effective (although he has been working on his range). With AD and McGee to start off games and the 3rd quarter, the defense will be played from the inside out, meaning Green or Bradley at the two will guard the young fast guards, Lebron will play safety which he is good at and the two shot blockers down low will make it difficult for the guards to comfortably drive to the lane.

I’m not against him staying on the bench late in games in favor of Cousins or AD when there needs to be more fluidity in the offense, but he should definitely start.

Cousins is gumpy and needs to get into better game shape before taking minutes from McGee/AD. I believe he is still a work in progress; he is coming off two major injuries and hasn’t played real minutes in over 2 years. Wanting him to start will not only hurt us (refer to him being gumpy), but would hurt him as well. He needs to still rehab and work his way back on the court. The Warriors rushed him back to quick imo and if we want to effective, we need to ease him back out there. By March if he has gotten into shape, gotten those reps so he is less gumpy, and playing like the old Cousins, then he can be used at a higher clip.

I actually do. He can’t guard the young guys, but on the flip side no one could guard him. It’s the ultimate mismatch. He plays safety well, so he won’t have to play one on one leg defense, he can just roam around and pick off passes and block shots.

I can't remember how many times I just wanted to strangle Walton with his insistence on using Kuzma at the 5 even when it was painfully obvious that it was not working and we had Zubac on the bench wasting away. Luke made a lot of mistakes during his time here, but this was one of the more egregious ones. Good riddance.

It's not necessarily about wanting McGee to start but Javale came back with the promise he'll start so I guess he'll start ...

Was it reported he was promised that? All season against all teams / lineups when a former all star coming back to health is there too? Just asking. Especially when McGee is being paid more than that former all star player.

Would love to see this be based at times, as makes sense, on the match ups.

Boogie will probably on minutes restriction anyway with AD taking some time at C. If Boogie gets back to a high level, I wouldn't be surprised to see him start by the end of the season and playoffs.

Rondo for all his faults can still make plays and I think we need another playmaker out there besides LeBron.

Starters and bench as of Feb 1.

    CP3, Caruso, Cook
    DG, Bradley, Daniels,
    Bron, Kuz, Dudley
    AD, Morris, Melo
    McGee, Cousins

We trade KCP and Rondo plus THT/Cacok to Knicks for Morris.

There is no market for CP3. Thunder will have to give up several draft picks to move him. He will only go to a contender. Would be easier to buy him out. I know, they are cheap and that is not chump change. He will have to lose that last year of guearnteed 40 million to get it back with a full MLE 3 year deal plus endorsements next year. Pipe? Yep. But man would he round out this team and it’s talents perfectly.

Would OKC pay 80 million over 10 years or rather watch him play for 3 years and hurt that team, preventing them from developing other players and a young team?

He has some leverage here if he really wants that chip, and an ability to recoup whatever he discounts to buyout.

    Just say no to CP3.

Unless he gets bought out and replaces Rondo, he's just too much risk and a toxic player. No thanks.
