I don't know. Johnson is obviously a little bigger. 6'8 vs. 6'7 in shoes, 1 1/2 inch longer wingspan, nearly equal standing reach. Winslow rarely ran into a player that could outmuscle him in college, including when he matched up against some PF's, he has some serious strength. If anything I might worry that at only 18, Johnson grows to 6'9 or more & surpasses 250 lbs., entering into that tweener category.

Thanks for posting this OmarE! Wow, what a well spoken, smart guy Stanley is. I dig this kid!! He's pretty much all business about working hard and improving. I could see his mindset and seriousness working really well with Kobe and I think he'd be a terrific running mate with Jordan and Julius. If we don't get one of the bigs I would love to get him. I know Winslow had a remarkable tourney, and Johnson not as much, but I just have a good feeling about him that his game, size, defense and intelligence are going to translate well to the NBA level. If we pick 4 or 5 it would be a real toss up for me whether to go for him or WCS. Less than a week left before we find out if we can keep that pick!

WCS at 7'1.5 in shoes? A 9'3 standing reach? Ridiculous.

Oubre has a HUGE wingspan for his size. Holy hell.

Tyus Jones measured in at *unofficially* 6'2" (in shoes) with a 6'5" wingspan.

He's got a decent build for an NBA PG.

Tyus reminds me a lot of Farmar. Not sure what it is exactly.

Same here. I think he's got career backup PG written all over him. Hopefully he's got a better head on his shoulders than Farmar did.

I wonder if any teams would be interested in our #27 and #34 for us to trade up?

I'd love to get into the 15-20 range to pick up a Tyus or a Dekker.

I like how NBA.com says we have an 84% chance of keeping the pick and 17% chance of losing it... when that equals 101%.

I'm getting super pumped about our pick. I just have so much trust in the Lakers scouting (see Clarkson, Black) that whomever we take I'll be really excited. Even if we end up with the 5th pick and end up with one of Hezonga, Johnson, Winslow, or WCS I think I'll still be really happy and not really let down at all that we missed out. If we lose the pick....holy hell!

Do we know anything about the Lakers' scouting team these days? Or can we assume it's still Jim's bartender?

If we get the #1 overall pick, what would it take for you to trade down? Embiid + Philly's pick? 1 of Orlando's talented youngsters + their pick? I'm getting further & further into the Hezonja is a star camp, but giving up on Towns scares me.
