I've never heard of half of those players, but according to Woj I'm sure Sindarius Thornwell and Mfiondu Kabengele are better than the scrubs on our bench.
Definetely missing Iggy to be able to close games out with a Caruso-Green-Iggy-Bron-AD lineup .. unless Kuz can improve on D
No Klaw, no problem. This is an extremely well assembled team within the space of 30 hours, which shows to me that the front office have a Plan B which they executed perfectly, including cap management since the RE has not been utilized. A backup wing would make this roster complete, hopefully that guy is Iggy. I wouldn't mind seeing Lance returning since Vogel knows him well and he played his best bball of his career under Vogel. Next season will be smashing, and a lot teams will be smashed.
Iggy would be awesome and I also wouldn't mind Lance, but given the construction of our team I'd prefer a young and athletic defensive wing coming off the bench. Someone that can get you stops while Lebron sits. RHJ fits the bill if he's still available.

Yeah having Iggy to put in on a closing lineup to clamp somebody like Kawhi/PG would be perfect. Would complete the squad imo
Alright the dust is settling. Now that the roster is 95% done, I'm leaning this way: Quinn Cook (20)/ Rajon Rondo (20)/ Alex Caruso (8) Danny Green (30)/ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (10)/ Alex Caruso (8) LeBron James (30)/ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (10)/ Kyle Kuzma (8) Anthony Davis (25)/ Kyle Kuzma (23) DeMarcus Cousins (25)/ Javale McGee (18)/ Anthony Davis (5) Something like that. I want to run about 10 deep. Despite what the media is going to say the next couple of months, we're a deep team. I want to show off that versatility and have guys off our bench playing all over the place depending on matchups. I know Davis will play more Center, but with two solid Center options, he shouldn't have to until death lineups. I settled on Cook starting because of his shooting. Caruso can eventually work his way into a starting spot and he should be the spot starter if Quinn is out, but Quinn is just more battle tested and a more proven shooter. It'll be up to Vogel and Hollins to find a way to hide him defensively as much as possible, but certainly ^ that starting lineup has shooting across the board and should be utterly explosive offensively and rock solid defensively. This team also has the ability to load manage Davis by sliding Cousins up and McGee into the starting lineup. For LeBron we can start Kuzma at the 3 for a few games and give Dudley some run. Dudley is still good enough to play real minutes for us. I wouldnt want to rest LeBron against good West teams, but otherwise we should be fine.
This is a much better constructed team than last year's. Should be able to handle non-lebron/AD injuries, unlike last year, when a guy like mcgee being out killed us.

Clearly, PG is by far our weakest spot on the court. The only positive aspect is that LeBron is the de facto PG on offense. I think the Lakers really need to try to trade for a starting caliber PG. We used to be trash at PG before the Russell/Lonzo era. I can only hope we aren't going back to being garbage at PG for the foreseeable future.
Who do we have other than Lebron and AD who can iso from the perimeter and break his man down to create for himself or others if need be? This is where lance would be really valuable. Don’t get me wrong, I hate Houston iso-ball, but at times you may need to fall back on iso if your half court offense breaks down.
That’s why I asked about Lance earlier... this time he’d fit quite well off the bench. They are probably hoping to sign Iggy somehow.
