I'd tell AEG to blow it out their rear end, and go talk to Magic.

Look, I am a member of Showtime Forum and the information shared from certain important people off the air on radio are more than telling to me on what to believe or not to believe. Again, I expressed my view. Not specifically talking about AEG, but regarding some trade insight or draft scenarios, yes. If you or anyone wants to have a deeper conversation from that, my messages are open. I'm not here to publicly bring out receipts on anyone, just sharing my thoughts. Can't comprehend the level of backlash for doing so. Hope all is well.

Magic has become an embarrassment. Just stay away and go do whatever it is you do.

I told everyone that, way back during Shaq and Kobe.

Magic is all about Magic. He's successful because of his name, not business sense.

I'm not blaming anyone for the PG/Kawhi thing. I'm just tired of Magic. He is a clown. Tired of his schtick and BS.

Please Lakers fans, don’t bring out the tiki torches on Magic. The front office has been dysfunctional since Dr. Buss died. They are just taking a looooong time to get it right and the imagery has not been reassuring. They STILL don’t have a POBO. It’s going to reflect on Jeanie, whether that is fair or not. She has the power, so she has to be asked about why this and that happened, and why this and that didn’t. Good luck getting her to sit down and provide any clarity though.

And those are what the are, insights and scenarios, not actual confirmations or promises of a player or trade to go through. It’s not backlash at you, it’s questioning your suspicions of our insider. We can talk about it here cause that’s what this forum does. If you’re still talking about him, we/he can answer your concerns.

Insiders get fed different things all the time, even those on TV, but they’re still there. Jalen and Broussard were completely wrong.

Was looking so forward to you flipping the switch if we got Kawhi to become glass overflowing Guy. LOL .... guess that won't be happening .... amirite?

    :Fishwink:

And .... ummm .... what's with the new avi? Nooooo! Chin up!

Thats fair, I think you may not know the backlash Mr Rambis has gotten. So a lot of people around here are not havin it. But if you say thats not what you were doing,
cool. Look forward to some of your insight moving forward.

Well, we could start with him quitting right as everyone was thinking where they might be next season.

He then went on National TV and aired ALL the dirty laundry, including calling those that remained in the org... "backstabbers."

He then tried to recruit Kawhi, even though he was no longer associated with the team

His version of the events somehow got leaked all over the press.

"Insiders" have come out and specifically said, Magic's big mouth was kind of the dagger.

And finally... because he's been a cluster**** as a bball executive, at EVERY turn. This isn't the first time, he's royally screwed the pooch.

I have no problem if you're being specific in asking Mr. Rambis questions, or just in general don't believe his connections. To each his own. But you can't just repeatedly mention that you know something that proves he's a fake without actually sharing. Mr. Rambis has shown us proof of his AEG connections, and I'd bet it trumps anything you might feel you know.

At a certain point, it just becomes slandering his character with no proof. So I welcome you to stay and contribute, but it's not cool to keep on bringing this up without proof.

Magic Johnson is the guy who would turn state's witness in a Rico trial. That's who Magic is in real life. He was a great earner when he was in the game. But when the pressure came to do other things, he folded like a cheap Party City chair.

@alam1108 Last I heard was he wanted more money in a buyout than the Grizzlies were offering and wouldn't take the min either. That was before the news about the trade came out.

Again, not slandering his character. Just stating my opinion as I have said about 5 times now. If you read my message, it's not about AEG specifically. You are more than welcome to personally message me. I won't be replying to anyone who gets offended by an opinion anymore.
