    AD + Lebron is better than Kawhi + PG

    BUT... Clips role players right now with Lou, Harrell, Beverley, Zubac & Shamet are better than anything we have for role players. I like Kuzma a ton and that helps but I think they have us beat in that category.

    Same, he demanded to be traded here and only here. We have cultivated a relationship with Klutch and continue to do so by paying KCP again. AD will sign a max contract with us next season, he will be absolutely loved and celebrated in LA and make ridiculous endorsement money, and he’s already big with that stuff. He and Klutch are not going to screw us over after we gave away the whole roster and 3 picks to get him.

    If Anthony Davis wins the MVP next year and Kyle Kuzma is dropping 40% from 3 and plays at an all star level, Lakers will ball well. Lebron needs to be Karl Malone for 3 more years in terms of health from 35 to 38. That is the big mystery now. Unless they can somehow get Westbrook or Beal between now and the deadline.

    Actually yes, because Lebron has a crazy amount of minutes played. He's so old when you look at his minutes played, I know he's a freak of nature physically.. but when does it end? And when it does, probably sooner than most realize.. or want to admit, I don't think A.D. will be all that happy.

    They needed some younger talent. Maybe they have something up their sleeve, who knows.

    No argument from me on that. Which is why its a little unsettling because in the next 1-2 years we need to have a plan for how we're going to compete long term. Having AD is great but we need another star. Kawhi as we all know was hopefully going to be that player for us. Looking at the 2021 or 2022 free agents I'm not sure who I like to come here.

    Kawhi and George planned this for years. They never had intentions of coming to the Lakers. The part that really bothers me is that the Lakers actually tried to trade for Kawhi and the Clippers did jack s*** to try and make a trade.

    I’m mad at OKC more than anyone. This doesn’t happen if Presti doesn’t cave to PG, what a wuss. Kawhi probably goes back to Toronto and the Clippers are screwed. But no, anything to stop the threat of a Lakers superteam, f*** OKC, screwed us out of PG twice and now this.
