    Monta is interesting. Not a statistical shooter... But i do think players perceive Ellis as a threat behind the arc, mostly because he’s streaky. Getting a close out is still valuable, and I think Ellis gets that attention on defense. If he’s “in shape” I think he’s worth a flyer.

    DeMarcus on one leg seems way less of a risk when he’s next to AD. I’d still want more center depth behind him though, and not in the form of Amare.

    Might be true that they’re hoping to do so, doesn’t mean we are that stupid or desperate. I’d look at G-League and overseas guys before I would those 2.
