I mean they could always go back to Doxxing their lone insider and making him delete his account, but hey do you reddit, no one is forcing you to come here for information and bring it back.
@lavar-is-trash Dialogue has been fluid and ongoing with Lakers officials, players, and other relevant individuals (e.g. Kobe, Magic) over the last few days. Things as of very recently have either slowed down or been kept very quiet.
No she said the day of the trade or the nght before she called to see if it was close and her source said nothing was close. Then when the trade hit she had no idea and she was pissed about it.
I understand many people wants me to make definitive statements about Kawhi's choice, believe me I want that too as a fan first! Unfortunately if he hasn't made up his mind (as far as I can confirm) I can't do that! And honestly, even if he has made up his mind, sh** happens like with Paul George a few years ago. Also I'm not directly tied into Lakers basketball operations, so I don't know as much as people may want. I just pass along what I hear, and try to make it clear when it's my opinion versus a tidbit I heard. Occasionally, yes, I'll catch wind of things before the media, but I don't want to raise anyone's hopes!
Personally, I for one am ok with this thread going into shut down mode until and if Kawhi is a done deal. In case what Momo said has any bearing on the truth, that Kawhi;s camp may be planting tid bits of info to see if there's a leak. I doubt that is the case myself but I'd rather not jeopardize anything regarding this signing. I'm just hoping for a super HAPPY 4th of July but I can wait longer.
@Alcindor The last major concrete update I got was the details of the front office and Kawhi's conversation, as well as the details of LeBron and Kawhi's conversation. After that, everything AEG has been told was be patient, but we're confident based on how Kawhi's camp reacted. Anything more is reading into the situation too much! But, hearing positive news followed by radio silence has boded well for us in the past!
Facebook is pretty bad too. Just a bunch of people reposting memes as references to an argument. It's like the idiots version of using Wikipedia as a source in school.
Someone actually posted your quote on r/Lakers lmao. One of the most upvoted comments: “it’s true tho” Then you got lakerswiz saying some insulting things about Weezy that I can’t repeat here... Honestly I feel bad for him. Dude is constantly salty and full of anger, trying to act holier than thou on Reddit to feed his hurt ego.
I don't think we talk about it. It's not cool to talk about people's police records and strange sexual preferences when they aren't around, etc.
