    I'm being told that the coaching staff is wary of Rajon Rondo starting at point guard next year, and view similar problems in the offense as Ben Simmons created with Philadelphia last year in the playoffs. Rondo, I'm told, made strong impressions on the coaching staff and management last year, and Kurt Rambis in particular is pushing to bring him on for a minimum contract. At this stage, the Laker's primary target at the guard position is Seth Curry. KCP and Danny Green are also options that are being explored. Bullock is out of play. Everything is on hold until Kawhi's decision, however.

    That'll probably be it for tonight. I'm in transit back to the States. I'll check in tomorrow.
