    So they replaced Butler with Horford, retained Harris, looking to extend Simmons. Nets got Kyrie and KD, C Bags signed Kemba, Bucks kept most of their guys, Indiana added nicely, East has done some solid stuff today. If I were Kawhi I’d look to go join a superteam in the West. :cool:

    DAMN, Taj will give Knicks a good vet. He got paid.

    I thought Jimmy was about winning. He took a quick 180. Wants that South Beach life. Glad he's not going to the Clipps, but that's a strange pairing to me.

    Horford is a great piece for 6ers for a couple years. Vet leader, mentor to the kids, two way big. Bucks and 6ers ECF.

    I still want veterans at the right price is all I'm saying. What Mr. Rambis is sounding like is we're going to just pay the guys we were going to pay 10m for 12 or 14m instead. I'd rather have a more measured approach than that. With or without Kawhi, we should have some level of leverage in terms of minutes and availability for roster spots. Danny Green 3/36, Pat Beverley 3/36, Javale McGee or Ed Davis 2/24m. Seth Green the Room Exception.

    I'm still going to be price shopping for now.

    I can see Jimmy demanding another trade mid-season if the Heat are sucking. :D

    Yeah, I forgot to add that at the end of my post, I’m liking how the whole league has shaped out, it’s more balanced all around than it has been in years. As it stands right now no team has more than 2 stars or all-stars, I guess Philly has the potential to have the most if Harris or Simmons make a team, but that’s not the case yet.

    Ah, ok I got you now, I wouldn’t disagree, it’s just, if Kawhi makes teams wait and we miss on him, we might have to pay up a little to get championship level right now. If LeBron were 30 it’s different, but going into age 35 he’s going to have to be managed by either that 3rd star or serious depth.

    There was also rumors of Dragic to the Lakers if we strike out in FA. With the Pat Bev market off to a slower start, maybe we don't have to do that.
