The 2019 draft is one where the Lakers don't have a draft pick, yet the most anxiously anticipated and followed by every Lakers fan. Does this make any sense at all?
Technically we still have the 4th bro and we're "aggressively" trying to get into the 2nd round according to sauces. It doesn't have to make cents...just dollars. Start buying them picks, Rob. The more picks we buy, the better indication we have on if our cap will be taken up by a maxguy or broken down to multiple guys. Drop that sauce on em already. We hungry out here.
Did a little digging into teams with multiple second round picks and trade exceptions. We would want to send out 4.897m between Wagner, Bonga, and Jones Charlotte has the 36 and 52 picks, and a 7.8m trade exception. Would Mitch be willing to make the move for last years 25 and 39? Time to waive that magic wand one last time Mitch. Do It Mitch!!
I think our other options would be Atlanta (35,41,44) into cap space. They only have a 1.378m exception Philadelphia (33,34,42,54) but they only have 3.297m trade exception and no cap space.
As much as I'd love this....I doubt Charlotte does it. They already have like 10 guaranteed contracts on their bbooks and I doubt they'll wanna help the Lakers clear max cap space to get Kemba Walker potentially.
Here we go....PHX just got even more cap space by doing this...Pacers got a nice wing on a cheap contract...probably means they may not be bringing one of Bogdonavic OR Thad Young back next year...
Pels now have 8,17 & 35 picks from Atlanta and unloaded Solomon Hill's contract. Saw that was already posted. Can we get this guy as our GM instead?
Isn't it technically still our pick? The trade hasn't been finalized so can we get some of those 2nd rounders rerouted to us?
Yah, I heard this BS about Ainge for 5 years. Where is Boston now? Lakers have Anthony Davis and Lebron James. Rob > Griff.
