Damn if he gave up $31M, he must have got something worth $60-80. Who would give him that? Knicks?

Alright, now hear me out....if you could get him for cheap 4 years, like 15 million, would he be worth it?

He’s too old for what I’d want to spend our money on. If we’re looking at a 3rd guy like him I wouldn’t want to go any higher than Butler who’s about to turn 30. Horford just turned 33. It would be difficult to have him on contract for 4 years as he aged as well as LeBron, we need to stagger our top players’ ages a little more imo if we want to stay competitive in the long run.

Well, they do have the NBA role model Robert Williams III so the C Bags certainly can absorb the loss.

(I'm secretly loving their implosion! Hehe!)

I'd rather have Horford for 3 years than a lot of other options. The dude is still really good on the court (for what we're looking for especially) and is a great locker room guy.

    For me it's...
    1) Kawhi
    2) Butler
    3) Horford (on a 3-year deal)
    3b) Kyrie or Kemba

I’d do that, but it sounds like he wants 4 years. But yes, in win now mode I’d take him for the 2-3 years, great defender, good shooter, easy to root for.

If we only have $27mil and no star will take a paycut, horford at $20mil x 3 years and Beverly at $7mil x 3 years would be nice. Bullock with the exemption.

    Beverly
    Bullock
    Lebron
    AD
    Horford

That’s a defensive monster with very adequate shooting

I am a huge Horford fan, but he isn't worth it to us

He should command 13-20M a year for 3-4 years

Most we should spend on a C is 10M a year, and that is if he can stretch the floor like Brook or Dedmon. If not, minimum to 4M.

AD will be closing out most or all games as C.

Who creates for us at the guard position?

I feel ya. I think we’d be ok with most of the offense generated in Lebron s is ADs hands, but a guard who can create would be nice too.

    My solution is simple:

Assuming AD waives kicer, pay him with Space Jam

    Seth Curry-8M
    Brook Lopez-10M
    Danny Green-9M

Room for Ariza/Bullock/Avery/Rondo (hopefully vet min and we get one of first 2 names)

Can move Bonga and Jones for little more cash if need be

    Curry, Green, Lebron, AD, Brook
    Rondo, Ariza, Kuzma, Wagner
Deeper bench vet mins: Caruso, Wayne Ellington, JR Smith, Tyson Chandler

Save 1 spot for a cut. What do I got wrong here?

I love those names but I think Seth gets more. I also think green goes where Kawhi goes
