I was hoping this could be one of the darkest days in Boston history. Lose AD to the Lakers and lose Game 7 all in the same hours.

 

Today was my first real day working with AEG and Lakers mgmt to figure out what to do about the consulting situation. And I just want to say... things internally are worse than what it seems on the outside. Complete top-down disorganization and amateur politics roadblocking those who are aspiring to add some real value and grow. Mitch is just not a good GM. Once he no longer has an inherited roster of generational players, the natural attraction that comes with a marquee franchise and West whispering in his ear, you can see what real talent, or lack thereof, is there.

 

im not putting cha poor record on mitch as they were already medicore to losing a bunch before him but kemba not type to be building around to begin with, hes just not a #1, hes a #3 at best, hes cj mcullun without a dame

 

Other than getting rid of Dwight/ Mozgov, he has done absolutely nothing with that roster. $100m+ payroll next year before they sign Kemba. They could potentially be paying luxury tax with a roster that cannot make the POs. The GM has been there a year now, plenty of time to start to re-shape the roster and show that they have a strategic direction. If I'm Kemba, I'm gone. There is just no clear plan and the core is just not that talented.
