Yeah. Three team trades are just hard to pull off. I’ve got no issues shipping Zo out of here though.

Can't be us, our scouts like to do their homework.

    Maybe Pelicans did

there's no way any our FO would give Garland a guarantee this early, considering that everything is up in the air with our team right now but then again our FO has proven to do things out of the norm :Lonzoreally:

If we were to keep the pick, all the guys projected to us seems redundant (wings). I know he has some injury concerns, but Bol Bol seems to be a better fit and fills a roster need. He blocks shots and can shoot the three.

We could trade down for Bol Bol. He doesn't look like he'll stay healthy though.

I like DeAndre Hunter, defensive player that can hit the 3 very well. 6'8 and can switch on any player

OK I'll also be the guy to piss off Klutch and say Garland's release certainly is not textbook. Looks considerably off with me not being a shooting coach but having seen great shooters over the years. It's not Lonzo bad or Markelle bad after he got drafted and got weird but there is something there that don't look great. Guiding hand off too quick but not to Nance's extreme?

Definitely noticed that too. A little unorthodox, not quite as quick as some shooters today, but he seems to be able to get shots off the dribble and create space, so it’s not too worrisome.

Good time to point out that we have no 2nd round pick this year. Also let's point out that anybody that both the Spurs and our own scouting teams are interested in is someone worth monitoring.

Also let's point out that I don't follow college ball at all, but I believe this guy is not projected to be drafted in the 1st round.

Also necessary to point out that the more guys we bring in like this could imply we trade into or buy into the 2nd round OR we are looking for young undrafted talent to sign at a minimum in case we need to round out the roster...like in the case our roster gets overhauled for a star...like AD.

Or maybe send Ingram to NYK for #3 and Mitchell Robinson and parlay the 3 to the Pels with the #4 and Ball for AD.

Knicks get a set and go player who can join Kyrie/KD. Pels can grab Barrett with the #3 and maybe ease Zion’s mind about joining and staying and get a #4 as well. We get AD and Robinson.

You don’t think they’d rather take Ingram than Barrett?

yes to that too unless of course they get kd/ky but in that instance i think nyk would use #3 to trade for a star themselves
