To me, the best part about this is that Boston is the big loser in so many ways. Not only do they get #14, but our pick dwarfs theirs. And it’a Not like someone else can come along and lure AD away from NO w/ the #1 pick. This also just makes me love Kuz that much more.
I was listening to the Draft Lottery on SiriusXM NBA Radio. The Commentator covering it was Justin Termine. He's a crass Boston Homer & irritating AF. Once it was clear that the Lakers had moved into the Top 4, he lost his isHT... It was comical & so sooo satisfying.
I see if we can work something out with Toronto if Kawhi does really want to go or possibly Philly for Butler. To me it's not AD or keep it. By itself the pick has limited trade value, but it's a great addition to our assets
S&T. Gives him more $ and prevents bidding against the co tenants. Incentive to come here if he decides he want out. If that's the only way to get him, I'll give them two 4th picks. Best player in the playoffs.
if he wants to come, 4th pick is poor use of your assets, combine it with one of the youth for a tier 2 star...other than shaving of #4 salary theres nothing else to gain, leonard or butler dont get 5yrs even if its a snt nor more $, this aint the old days
Why is everyone so high on Garland at #4? On most mock drafts he’s projected to be in the 7-12 range. If we really want him, wouldn’t it make more sense to trade down?
oops my bad ....poor reading skills n for ref, dame was #6 pick, not sure if that was seen as a reach than as well since he came from a small unknown school
