anyone got insight on this guy Sekou Doumbouya.....I haven't seen highlights but I really wanted to get Cedi Osman several yrs ago and he turned out pretty decent. This Sekou guy got insane measurements, sorta like Bonga but doesn't seem as slow as Bonga

The Lakers winning the draft lottery is exactly what’s needed now to “right the ship” because we are currently the titanic.

Unfortunately even if we win the #1 overall pick, we would use it on Bol Bol.... because Kurt Rambis knew his dad (probably).

I wish I could report that AEG rigged the lottery to get the Lakers Zion! But unfortunately, it is controlled by Ernst and Young. There was one situation with Ewing back in the day, but since then, the lottery is squeaky clean, as far as I know. It is difficult to buy out E&Y.

So the draft lottery is on Tuesday, Kuz is representing us, I really hope the FO comes out and has a "state of the union" press conference before hand or else they'll be throwing Kuz to the wolves. He handles interviews pretty well but he's also the one that thought the protests were about the players.

The Lakers FO get “ahead” of something...don’t count on it.

Joey has been in touch with Kidd about who he would like as a draft pick. Discussions were preliminary and the implicit assumption is the pick will be traded before the draft.

Kidd. Not Vogel. Starting to sound like a bunch of made up ****. WAAY too much ongoing internal information like AEG would be appraised of day to day internal workings of the Lakers FO. Why exactly would that be?

So, Vogel gets paid to basically be a dummy? Cool, we're in great shape LOL.

i mean, forcing a coach to take on a higher-profile (but less successful) assistant (who's never been an assistant) pretty much makes the statement by itself.

it's a mess. i'm shocked vogel took the job, tbh. it's going to go worse for him than orlando did. we'll struggle, and he'll get fired quickly, with kidd having already usurped him. then kidd will lead us to ruin like he did bkn and mil.

I’d say we deserve what is going to be happening over the next 2 to 3 years.

the organization does. the fans don't. yes, we've had a lot of success, but the last 8 years have been one train wreck after another. i've always felt bad for knicks fans, and now i am one.

Yes, you are correct. The organization deserves what is coming to them, but the fans clearly do not. It’s a very unfortunate situation.

Our luck is changing. We are going to land in the top 4 tomorrow for the draft. I’m going to speak it into existence.

Yeah, we let our guys go for nothing or bundle to help get rid of bad contracts lol.

If we are in win now mode, draft picks likely won’t play much or will be used in a trade. Our recent history of drafting is strong, but I’m unable to muster any excitement at this time.

    It feels meaningless.
