Speaking of what a year so far .... how's our WS prospects look with this year's roster vs last year's for those of us with no TV?

I feel like Cookie doing play by play by herself in Game Day end of the year.

Ryu on fiyah this year. 1 hit 8 inning shutout against Nationals today. 5-1 with a 1.78 ERA if you need him.

The jury is still out really. We started great because our problem, that I've said time and time again, has been hitting with RISP and leaving men on base. We can talk about 7th inning pitching til we are blue in the face but the last few seasons we have left men on base in the big moments. As of late we have not hit with RISP and have been a bit of bang or bust. That being said, the bats are much more deadly this year overall. The boys are making solid contact and our 3B coach is on fire. For me these guys look like they are ready to finally get over the hump. The homers given up by Hill and Kersh are a trouble but overall the pitching has been solid. Roberts has been pulling the right strings. Seager finally hit a bomb. And Verdugo pretty much proved that the FO knew what it was doing to get rid of Puig and keep him. This kid is a baller. From top to bottom they are scary looking. We are going to put up runs and our pitchers are killing it. This team looks like our most balanced and stacked team to date.

Making great decisions with the runners? Or is he also the new hitting coach? Read he has made a big contribution.

With the runners. He is aggressive but not reckless. Oral (and the other guy) talked about how the guys run the bases this year with him. They know he might send them so they come around the bases with purpose. And it has shown in a couple of games so far. I've watched most of the games and I can't think of many base running errors we have had this season. He def stands out.

I'll give my perspective on this too. At this point in the season, compared to last year, a way better start. There was a point in time they were 10 bellow .500 last year. There are players playing incredible at the moment (Bellinger, Ryu) and players that are struggling (Seager until that grand slam yesterday, Joe Kelly). Bellinger might've slowed down a bit, but Muncy and Turner have been able to step it up. And then you got the usual boom or bust hitters like Kike and Joc. Puffy is right about Verdugo, the guy is a hitting machine and good on defense. He's been able to step up as AJ Pollock predictably is injured again.

The one Achilles heel that this team has is the bullpen. It has not been reliable again. Joe Kelly has struggled badly, although, he looked very good a couple of days ago. So far, the two signings they've made have not panned out so far.

Classic Dodgers bullpen tonight. I just thought it would be Baez giving up the long ball instead of Jansen. Damn it!

I was there for that game and I dont get to go to too many now. I was so disappointed.. I was teaching my son about pitching duels and that em effer.. goes and does that. I think it's time for a change in that position...

I was half way around the world waking up at 4am to watch the world series the past 2 years and those offers couldnt get it done. I feel like this year they have a chip on their shoulder. I will only be across country this year .. please get there... please close it out!

What a season so far, first to 60 wins! Bellinger hitting 30 HR's before the ASG, joining Willie Mays, Mark McGwire, and Reggie Jackson as the only players to do this before age 23. Ryu finally got his 10th win as well.

Crazy to think that our team could get better with Seager, Freese, and AJ Pollock coming back. The bullpen has looked good and Joe Kelly has looked great recently. JT Chargois struck out 5 Padres yesterday, which was impressive.

Look who's the newest NL all star:

    Well deserved for Mad Max.
