This coaching search has gone so far the other way, I’ll be happy if they take a stab at some random no namer because these guys suck.

De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, WCS, Bogdanovic, Bagley, and some other really solid draft picks improved the King’s record.

In hindsight Luke probably doesn’t deserve as much credit, it was more about player growth (Ingram, Randle, Kuz breaking out quick, Zo having some nice games when he was healthy, Hart, Nance, JC having some nice games here and there, Brook Lopez) and about B0ron being gone. They won 26 games the year before, so yes 35 was an improvement, but I put it on the players mostly. Not that Joerger gets zero credit for Sacto’s improvement, but it was clearly mostly about the jump in the games of Fox and Hield that really did it. Joerger was overrated, so no I wouldn’t want him, a Lakers/Kings coach swap would only be funny for about 5 mins.

To be fair, JB Bickerstaff’s dad did have the greatest winning percentage in the history of Laker’s coaching ;)

Hopefully we're starting at the bottom of the list and working our way up. That's the only possible positive spin I got

Divac for GM. Too bad he is already working for the Kings.

Safe to say Bron at the very least is "embarrassed" about the Lue news cause Haynes is pretty tight with Klutch.

    https://sports.yahoo.com/lakers-players-embarrassed-coaching-debacle-185401551.html

The silver lining in all of this is that if Bron wanted an efficient way to be universally embraced by the LA fans.. his recruiting of a star will make up for the FO's currently underwhelming performance in rounding out our executive and coaching heirarchy.

I'm not going to say coaching doesn't matter (see Shaq/Kob without Phil, the mess that is Okc, Ky/Horford with Stevens etc)...but we already have a max spot.vif Bron can bring in any top tier free agent, the coaching will will be somewhat of an afterthought.

So far Kawhi (via Screaming A) and now Kyrie (via Windy) have been linked to Bron or his people.

    My short list would be:
    Blatt
    Messina
    Juwan Howard
    Stephen Silas
    Adrian Griffin

I'd lean toward Messina. He would work well with younger guys, be a plus in big name FA recruitment, have (hopefully) Lebron's respect, attract some good foreign players and bring a Spurs mentality with him.

I simply dont understand why we are interviewing some of these retreads with very poor records.
