    i just don't understand the love for kidd from rambis

    he basically forced larry drew out of milwaukee and the team underachieved pretty badly during his time there. he's not just a terrible coach, guy is a terrible human being. and that's who rambis is trying to bring in? might as well bring in mark jackson too if they're trying to hire terrible humans

    Plaschke sums it up pretty well. I miss the days him being the overly negative voice in Laker Land. His writing hasn't changed, the franchise has and now this is all pretty true and a very sad state of affairs.

    Bleacher breakdown of the current candidates


    Based on current prospects, my ranking goes: 1) Vogel. 2) Howard.

    Vogel has Lance ties. Maybe he can get PG to want to come here. Dunno. Grasping at straws here.

    Howard is a complete gamble. If they're not wanting to give Bron more power, this is a mistake. Also an unproven coach isn't the correct way to pivot away from Luke.

    If it's Kidd or Woodson, I'm done. Woodson in Atlanta was a local nightmare.

    Honestly, I think the only option here is to eat crow and give in to Lue.

    There are no other viable candidates, and going with any of them it would be apparent that they were not really our preferred choice.

    Going back to Lue and giving him a non-insulting contract makes us look like poor negotiators and temporarily cheap, but affirms that Lue is the guy we actually want which should bring a bit more stability.

    Yet we already had our beat reporters lie to try to save face by claiming that WE moved on from Lue and didn’t think he was the best long term fit. Dumb move.
