See, this is an issue in itself. The Lakers need to stop with stop gap coaches. They need to think 5-10 years. They need to start adapting to 2000 freakin 19.

I’m genuinely still stunned over this. This is exactly why people worry when they hear reports like “head coaching candidate ____ met with Pelinka, Kurt, and Linda Rambis today”. This is why you hire competent people to run your basketball operations, then you go out and fill the rest of the staff.

I don’t want to have my concerns proven right here. I want the Lakers to be smart and get better, but they’re making this so damn hard on themselves because they refuse to run this thing as anything other than a mom and pop shop. There’s so many qualified execs out there we could look to for help fixing us, dudes that have turned GS and Toronto around, but no, we go back to the Rambi.

Apples and Oranges. Lue was only a candidate because of Lebron. Monty Williams will have the opportunity to develop and coach a young, up and coming team who could end up with Zion. Lue was a stop gap. And that in itself is a waste of all of out time. This team needs stability at the General position of head coach.

OX, the Lakers need stability at the ownership level, but you probably know that; this is a very scary time.

I know you hate Tank Threads; so I'm asking for your forgiveness in advance of many more to come...

Well, them not cow towing to Lue's demands is a good sign. Which would have also meant them bowing to Lebron's needs.

Magic left the Lakers because he didn't want to work. He wanted to be Magic and tweet horse s*** for pointless reasons. Blaming the Lakers for both these situations is wrong.

Now, if they hire Jason Kidd, you have a point, but I haven't seen any evidence yet that that will happen. Lakers need to wait until the season over to hire a coach in my opinion. They need to see if they can bring in a player personal guy who can actually put in the work. We will see..

Mike Woodson? Lionel Hollins? Are you kidding me?

So we're going to go after a bunch of retreads basically that failed everywhere else?

This is so effing embarrassing...I'm so done with this team.
