I'm good with either Lue or Monty. They are both good options IMO and I prefer them greatly to Luke for a Lebron led team.

I just watched this video on Ty Lue’s offense.

No big surprise, this offense (or any Lebron-centric offense) relies on capable 3 point shooters to get the spacing required.

The current Lakers squad, especially the young core won’t be able to make it work. I have a feeling unless there are further drastic changes to the roster in the offseason, even if we hire Lue... the offense will be about as difficult to watch as the Luke Walton offense.

I mean... going with the 5 out offense to create more driving lanes for Lebron, he would essentially drive to the paint 1 on 5, but would have to kick out to the perimeter to Lonzo (30% 3 point shooter), Ingram (33% 3pt shooter), Josh Hart (33% 3pts), Kuzma (33%) or McGee? Lol

If your committed to this... yeah a trade for Bradley Beal makes perfect sense. You would also need to find Centers who can shoot the 3, which means the return of Brook Lopez.

If they wanted lue he would already be hired IMO. With every passing day the odds are in Monty's favor. Which I think is a big mistake. Lue is proven and can work with Lebron. Holds him accountable, that will earn the respect of the younger guys. Hes better at xo's and is a former laker and that always makes Jeanies panties wet. Monty probably okd Rambis on his staff... The lakers leadership is a mess.

This worries me man, I don’t want to see a repeat of Luke. It doesn’t matter if you’re a great leader of men if your offense isn’t really good. I wonder how much influence Monty has with Philly’s offense this season, because that might be an indicator of how much he’s been able to evolve. I don’t watch them a whole lot though so I cant say if their offense is similar to this video, plus from what I see Ben Simmons does a lot of stuff on the fly there and they just run a lot through Embiid.

I could give two rat tails about what offense we run, whatever it is, it'll center around Lebron anyway.

Give me a coach that will prioritize DEFENSE and knows how to adjust to certain players and making players accountable for missing assignments. We need a defensive leader out there who is going to get guys in position, including Lebron.

I'll refrain in the future, but i do believe you are being a bit too sensitive. That remark isn't sexist. Maybe inappropriate, but its commonly used for both
genders. In fact, I find it sexist that you only think women can wear panties. lol I'll stop now.

Not even Dr Strange sees an outcome where Lue is not our head coach.

If we had any with the organization who knew how to speak in front of the camera and not behind the scenes and behind others backs, we would need them to clarify this Monty process. Media will play it as he chose Suns over our dysfunction.
