West is 80 years old, so full time general manager might be too much for him. Let Pelinka handle that if he wants to stay (no point in firing him), and let West be the President. Pelinka can handle more day to day stuff, West takes care of the big picture items -- draft picks, recruiting FAs, signing off on trades.
Pelinka has to go. Everyone outside the Lakers hates him and he is in over his head. He’s gotta bounce with Magic. This side of the fence ain’t his game and owners/GMs will take advantage of him any chance they can get.
Yeah my source is pretty legit..he been writing for the Clippers for some time and used to be at ESPNLA as well and he' works with Shams (who broke the Magic story). There's real legs to it and it sucks but it actually makes a lot of sense
Yea there’s something really bad brewing with Magic/Rob that the Lakers don’t want out in public. You don’t abruptly quit and run out the building and not tell anyone if s*** isn’t about to hit the fan in a big way. There’s rumblings on Twitter about a lot of behind the scenes issues that are detrimental to the franchise.
