    My main gripe is that the Lakers cut my season short every friggin year on both ends...

    1. Because we miss the playoffs we go fishin in April instead of June

    2. The Lakers go full tank mode after 50 games and games become unwatchable.

    In other words... My basketball season is cut short by pretty much FOUR months...

    That is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

    You start watching other teams. Pre KD warriors were fun. I’m enjoying the Bucks this year. Doncic is very fun to watch.

    It sucks but I need my basketball fix and Lakers just aren’t giving me it.

    My Dad was a Big Laker fan when they were in Minnesota and we lived in Wisconsin. When we moved to Ventura in 68 I was a full fledged Laker fan and my parents bought a couple season tickets near chicks nest. When Jerry Buss bought the Lakers he priced out my parents which soured us on them...but time and the incredible success they had changed that. So here we are now, the Lakers have lost their identity, the team across the hall at Staples has a great owner, great front office, and exciting young team with plenty of cap space, and are trying to get their own arena built with Balmers deep pockets. If they land Leonard, and possibly another FA(Durant), get their arena built a new era of Los Angeles basketball has arrived. Three more years of the "Lebrons", excuses, failure, and blaming others is going to drive old school Laker fans away. There will always be the Lebron fanboys to fill the seats, but where will they be when he's finally done and the other team in town has racked up yearly trips deep into the playoffs? I'm sorry to be such a Debbie Downer but since Jerry Buss passed this organization has become a s*** show unworthy of my once passionate fandom, no more league pass subscriptions from me...there's enough disappointment to see on national TV broadcasts of the "Lebrons".

    Pity the fool who takes on that job to coach. When LeKing finally gets in a snit and starts chirping like he does when he's blaming bad game results on others ... at Boogie ..... LOL. Or Boogie knowing that just takes an attitude toward him from the outset that he will take zero s*** from LeTeamChemistry and cops his own attitude like LeTheMan probably would not like that. What a match made in heave .....errrr not sure where but very volatile to have to coach that s***..

    i really don't think cousins is a bad locker room guy. he's a headcase, though. more importantly, he tore his achilles.

    I wished I was a bandwagoner and could move on.

    Losing is part of the journey. You have to take the bad with the good.

    Thankfully i also love FC Barcelona and they have had a TERROR run ever since Messi came into the scene... So that's been a decade of unrivaled success and I'm happy I could experience it.

    Same applies to Shakobe Era and to a lesser degree the Kobe Gasoft Era...
    I can put things into perspective but the consistent miss management is hard to swallow.

    When you are a lot of generational talent players in one team you are bound to, although Barca’s famed academy has produced basically nothing since that famous group 15 years ago, more money based now. Still an unbelievable run, though.

    In terms of the Lakers now, they basically remind me I how my team (Man Utd) has been since SAF retired, wrong coaching decisions, wasted money on signings and trying to always hit the jackpot rather than making sensible moves, hence why they have been poor for 7 years.
