everyone else will start tanking now too though, and we're basically 3 losses out of the bottom 8. In order to lose that much ground to fellow tankers, we'd practically need to go 1-9 per 10 games. I jus don't see it.

Also, do you think ownership fired Del Demps to help keep the lines of communication open with da Lakers? They had the best package for sure.

but if Luke can't handle one star so well, how he gonna handle 3?

Definitely need a woman coach who won't take any crap.

 

I don't think it was Demps that didn't want the deal. The owners were butthurt and clueless... but that's just me thinking.
We can blame Luke, Magic, Bron... but if it wasn't for these f***ing injuries, we would be sitting at the 3-4 spot and chill, looking forward. Time to invest in some real training staff and doctors.

 

I dont see pelicans taking a different stand now that they'll have a different GM, ownership could've easily superceded Demps and approved the deal themselves especially considering the story that the coaching staff liked that offer of everything but the kitchen sink.....but we'll see tho, I just dont agree with others that now mgmt. can low ball Pelicants (ie holding out BI)....

If Kyrie and Durant are smart, and the Knicks get the top pick, they should go to New York. That team and their careers would ignite. No way in hell Kyrie is coming to the Lakers. Do not want him anyway, he has a similar toxic aura around him. Plus, he doesnt play defense and the last thing the lakers need is another star who plays half the game like Lebron.

really starting to wonder if boston fake-leaked our supposed offers. it benefitted them to have us look desperate and have the pels look like they were waiting on the big haul from elsewhere.

it was weird that jeannie came out and flatly denied that we offered the house.
