LOL. I went back to all the Magic related threads to check on myself, and how duped I was... All of the following are from almost exactly 2 years ago - Feb 2017. When Magic was first brought in as an adviser: In response to Magic taking over Mitch and Ding pissing all over: I f***ing hate having all my fears realized.
yea i was scared of magic hiring too but he got us james so a lil of that fear subsided but the vets hes signed n the ad fiasco has me s***ting bricks, we're just as doomed as with jimbob/kupcake
Lucky you, being able to think that LeBron is somehow a good thing. It is not. It is going to hinder this franchise (in basketball space) for the next 3 years (that dude's opting in, you better believe it).
well i meant that at the beginning of the season but like i said once i saw the vet signings i was worried af...people tried to defend it n i accepted especially rondo n mcgee signing cause i thought thats what we did need but look at them now just low iq, no awareness types n they suppose to be teaching our youths? lol
Seems more and more like you were right all along. I wish I wasn't right about Bron when we signed him and so many people were crying tears of joy for having him FOR FOUR FREAKING YEARS. Kobe finishing his career was not enough for me to stop caring about the Lakers (even though I actually feared that may be the case). Magic at the helm combined with Bron as our leader may do the trick.
sum people felt the same about lebron fearz and I think they seem to be coming tru too. could get ugly
Here let me help you out this offseason Magic... Patrick Beverley Danny Green JJ Redick Reggie Bullock Ed Davis Brook Lopez If you miss out on your stars plan, actually sign players that can contribute (and you know shoot the got damn basketball) and run it back with the kids + Lebron
Not sold on Reggie Bullock yet. But I like this plan a lot. I also think we need to trade one of Ingram or Kuzma. They are both good enough to be getting starters minutes, but we can't have them both in there at the same time for long stretches if intend on keeping Lonzo. That's another elephant in the room. Lonzo. If we miss the playoffs, who here would be willing to try and offer up Lonzo and our lottery pick to Phoenix to try and move up to get RJ Barrett? He's the explosive scorer we need. Then sign Beverley to play the point. Danny Green for shooting off the bench.
In Magic's defense, he did go after Reddick (opted to stay with the 76ers), and he did go after Super Mario (who's playing like garbage), but he opted to go with the Knicks.
Yeah, that seems to be the issue with Luke...or 1 of them. But Luke isn't a Magic hire, and you never know, he might surprise us and hire a decent coach. The jury is still out on that one...
You do what SAC has been doing with Bagley, they start a shooter but Bagley plays 30+ anyways. You do that with preferably Ingram, start Bullock in his place.
which makes it even more surprising that he's still employed all the pre-magic draft picks are gone aside from BI
you are my childhood hero, Magic...i love you but i love winning even more...please dont make me hate you...fix this
There aren't many great players that become great executives. Jerry West or Danny Ainge are exception to the rule.
