It would be such a great FU to the rest of the league if the Lakers won the lottery with a 0.5% chance of winning the first overall pick to get Zion.

Magic Jeanie and Rob wouldn’t sink to the Pelicans level but I would absolutely love it if they offered all the young kids plus Zion for AD in the summer just to piss off the C Bags... only to pull back the offer at the 11th hour lol.

It would be karma well deserved for the rest of the league if the ping pong balls fell our way..... lol

 

Bit premature, but i understand the frustration.

I remember the first week of the new Nike jersey's, they were ripping to shreds just looking at them. Maybe Nike moved their facility overseas without telling anyone. I heard the employees in China asked for a 4 cent raise on their monthly salary. Looks like Nike moved citing costs were just too much to sustain a profitable business.

i suppose one could argue that had the shoe not blown out, he'd have wrecked his ankle? i mean, this could just be a freak incident/defective shoe, but it could also be a manifestation of concerns over zion's ability to stay healthy. 280 pounds moving that fast and changing directions creates some pretty violent force on the knees and ankles. that which makes him stronger may kill him, metaphorically speaking.

Different league today, so it couldn't happen (and I realize Kobe wasn't the #1 prospect since his SR year in HS like Zion has been) , but I wish Zion could refuse workouts and then tell teams he doesn't want to play for anyone but the Lakers like a former Charlotte Hornet (for a minute) did.

Owners would force a lockout before the end of the draft.
