Yeah, well, it seems a few teams got better in the west...except us and a few of the cellar dwellers. Guess we like to be classified with them...

But they clearly did it for the pick...maybe Morris is a buyout candidate. In which case, there's a bunch of options potentially opening up IF we trade the farm tomorrow.

 

I hope we do something tomorrow. Doubt we get AD or another elite player, but feels like there is so much activity going on that there has to be something else out there that we can take advantage off.

Maybe Ellington off the waivers, and then package some combination of KCP, Zubac, Stephenson and Beasley for something else?

Just a thought, but would you guys do KCP, Zubac, Hart, Lance and a second round pick for Vucevic and Terrence Ross? I'm not sure if I'd do it, giving up on Hart for a rental would be tough. But if him and Zu are destined to be trade fodder at some point, might as well capitalize on them now.

Assuming we're not in too big of a hole by the time everyone gets healthy, I think that team would be very competitive in the playoffs.

 

Woj lost all credibility with me this past week or two. Thankfully Shams has similar or better sources and remains more neutral with the analysis stuff.

 

this surprised me, too. people trash barnes's contract, but he's all class, and his contract has made him a little underrated as a player, imo. dallas usually treats its guys pretty well--especially the good guys (ask jjb, devin harris, etc. if they like it there vs. other places). so this was a head-scratcher. thought barnes deserved better.
