Oh look at that... someone thought they could turn tricks on LB. "Genius" concept, poor execution. Silly Anon, don't you know tricks are for pimps and the only one around here is Barns. Live look at Barns dealing with Mr. Anonson and his minions. How'd that pimp hand feel? #Sirron"Neo"dsANewSchtick #UnplugFromTheMaTrix
I chose to let the gig be up and use the same device. Otherwise, no, there was no way to confirm. I just wanted to know what it would feel like to be you for a day. or two. #nothanks #lonelybasement #lifewithMom
Na, your mom and I talked about it, but I prefer to stay with my Nana instead, cause the dance parties are lit AF! #liveswithNana Speaking of which... #We'llMissYourGenius,Anon
Hey all. Just joined up, first post. Been a Laker fan since the late 70s, and was sold on this forum when I dug into the Analytics section—bad a**! Not a student of the intricacies of the game, but that section’s about to change that. LET’S GO LAKERS!
Welcome IE. How did you find this place? Not sure how many tens of miles away but @LaVarBallsDad is somewhere south a ways from Staples too. Not that I think you would have any interest in a cat who would choose that for his name ....
Thanks all. Baylor is hands down the greatest Laker w/o a ring—a tragedy he couldn’t get one—dude deserved a few. Found this site when searching for a forum, and this one towers over the others. I have a buddy at work who lives in Chino Hills. LaVar bugs the s*** outta me and him both, but my buddy says the Ball family took any kid in who wanted to play. No kids got left out. He’d take them running through the hills, come back and shoot hoops, fed them, everything. And all 3 bros were good students, and their parents were on their a** if their grades slipped, or were disrespectful to the teacher. But he also said, rolling his eyes, that LaVar is LaVar—the shtick comes with the bs package. Annoying as hell, but it is what it is. Still not sold on Zo, and wouldn’t mind a bit losing him to get Brow.
IMO, Elgin Baylor should've received an honorary ring for that '71-'72 season, apart from the statue outside of Staples he got last year. What Lavar does for the kids in his area is remarkable, but when he opens his mouth it negates all the good he has done. I have no doubt that he does it for the sake of his family, but as a casual fan it is annoying to hear/read those kinds of stuff.
Welcome IE! Check out the different forum themes by clicking the theme title in the lower left hand corner of each page... there might even be a hidden theme for those that want to search for it.
What's up LB! First post, long time reader. What better time to chime in on all the convo's what with the chaos and all. Little background, been a Laker fan all of my life, born in 78, ton's of family in LA, so it was just natural. Kobe Bean Bryant is my all time favorite Laker, ultimate competitor and there was nothing on the floor he couldn't do. Even through the dark times I stuck with our team knowing at some point we would be on top again, but damn this dry spell is rough. Thanks for spoiling me Lakeshow. Looking forward to talking with you all.
Welcome! Are you in Texas? reason I ask: Origin. The origin of the term "pachuco" is uncertain, but one theory connects it to the city of El Paso, Texas, which was sometimes referred to as "ChucoTown" or "El Chuco." People migrating to El Paso would say, in Spanish, that they were going "pa' El Chuco." I'm in Houston, and there are a few other members out here like Anon Inam.
