I like he's working on a jumper. But he better not forget about that Post game though. He better not become Jordan hill (an exclusive jump shooter now)

This kid is 20 years old and he sounds like a grizzled old veteran. Just amazing. Tremendous. I remember going into the draft I was hoping for Smart, but when it came to it and we got Julius I was absolutely excited. We got a winner.

I love that he and Clarkson are already developing a rapport. Our Summer League team is going to be awesome because they're going to be our foundation pieces for the future. When I read this kid's interviews I can't help but get excited. He's the kind of guy I can picture hoisting that trophy in June.

Even before he was drafted he talked about recognizing the mismatch. If he's got a smaller player on him, he'll go the box. If he's go a taller guy, he'll drive by him. He's a really cerebral kid.

hey, walker wasn't always the punchline he became in the second half of his career. his combination of size and quickness reminds a bit of randle. i'm hoping randle develops the midrange game that walker never did.

    His calves look slim.

In fact he looks slimmer in general. He's definitely not in game shape, but his progress looks solid.

that corner three looked nice, same stroke as his midrange, which is good. didn't have a ton of lift on those drives, but that may be by design right now.

the more I see of him, the more I think his upside is more like webber than the zbo/barkley suggestions that were more common at draft time.

Apparently he has dropped 18 pounds and has changed his diet to make sure he's in the best shape possible.

Saw that, but that weight should come from his upper body mostly. I just hope his calves stay strong. Slim doesn't mean weak, but he's already a top heavy guy. He needs a strong base.

Hope not. I like him for the four. He's a mismatch nightmare at 4.

I don't want him at the 3. he's appropriately sized for the pf spot, should be able to defend and score more easily against 4s. I really don't see him being successful at sf in the nba.

Also I hadn't thought about the Webber comparison but I 'd agree that's a good one. Did Webber ever have to play the 3? I only remember him playing the 4.
