I think they’re higher on Ball, but they’re trashing the Laker youth overall.

They'll look good again when LBJ comes back but they look bad, very bad

Outside of Kuzma, I don't think any of the young guys will ever be stars, especially Lonzo (on offense).

I don't know. I've just never gotten the feeling that anyone around the league was all that high on Ingram.

But I do agree that we are first with George and would have a legit shot at the championship with the Warriors struggling. I think we should have made some moves to get another guy for LeBron and I still feel that way.

Which one? The one where a guy criticizes him and people say he’s crazy, or another one?

Josh Hart hasn't been the same since he was injured. I think it's now that is the anomaly actually. If healthy, he's not this inefficient.

I tend to agree. I think Kuz’s back is still bothering him too

I’m on reddit all the time looking for tibits for my doom. The game threads are full of people dumping on our players and their own. No way I take that “knowledge” as what GM’s around the league think of our players or theirs.

Kinda wish we just kept Russell and Randle and traded BI, Clarkson, nance for PG, yes... missing out on lebron.

Magic better have some inside FA/trade info regarding this "back back back" nonsense next year, cause I'd be happy with a core of:

    Zo
    Russell/Hart
    PG
    Randle
    Thomas Bryant

That wasn't the question that started this thread. I agree, but I also think we'd all be surprised to think what GMs think about players. Sometimes they're shockingly stupid.

Heck, even Sirron is supersensible of late (probably cause no LAbron haha)

There have been some bad loses and noone is sidestepping that...but looking back and with revisionist history based on half a season is a bit shortsighted.

Guess we know where all the rain in So-Cal is coming from.

When our own fanbase doubts us, the come up will be much more satisfying... especially for yours truly.

All the usual suspects enjoy your moment in gloom...

Btw fun fact: Paula in the East couldn't get past Bron and now some of y'all wanna build a team around her in the West...

Yeah. No one is saying to build your team around Paula. We have Lebron. People are saying him as the second option behind Lebron, but if you want to misrepresent people, go for it. If we had PG13 right now instead of Ingram and let's say Hart as that pick would have been one we sent out, we'd be 2nd or 3rd in the West right now...easy. But in all honesty, we'd probably be higher because we would have traded Ball and Kuz for another better player (ie Kemba) and we'd be ready to challenge the Warriors. We are so worried about keeping our youth and depth (and I was guilty of this). But if this has taught us anything, it's that established stars win. You need a couple of them. All our youth and depth is getting their a** handed to them without Lebron...just one star.

@vasashi17 I love you bro and you've been a longstanding member since the CL days....

But you gotta stop with this man. Give it up already. Our kids suck...and we made a huge mistake not trading for PG13.

If we had him right now with LeBron...easily the 2nd best team in the west behind the Warriors...with a real chance to knock them off as well.

And yes, maybe some of this is on the coaching and development...but if that were the case that we just can't develop players...then either get ppl in here that can do this (they didn't) or trade these young guys for established stars that don't need to be developed.

Honestly, everybody deserves blame here...but we royally messed up not trading Ingram for PG13...and I was one of the guys saying we shouldn't trade him. I was wrong...you were wrong...we were ALL wrong. Paul George is a top 10 player this year and likely will be next year as well...he's that good and we'll have to hope we get someone like Kawhi or AD to really make up for that (which I don't see happening)
