Well we're young and without those vets it's a learning process still. There's a long season ahead.

Living the development of youth game by game is excruciating. If possible, I think it's better to evaluate in chunks of games and trying not to let the standings affect you much.

In the last 10 games, we've lost one game to the best playing teams. It just isn't as life or death as it feels sometimes. Houston and San Antonio are picking up the pace a bit, but overall, we're keeping pace just fine considering the circumstances.

The problem is that it's such a tight playoff race. Maybe things even out a little but we're almost half way through the season already. Not such a long season ahead.

Remember Denver? Jamal Murray f***ing with us, made the boys very engaged in that last home game and voila, Nugs missed the playoffs by 1 game

He is being used for his natural playmaking ability instead of standing and watching.

    :Kuzmawhoknew:

Lebron might be an all time great, but I find his brand of basketball crap to watch. But hey, Kobe had those moments too.

I turned in toward the end of the third. Waking up about midnight, I check the score and see our Lakers pulled it out. Very nice!

    It wasn’t looking good

Looks like Ingram, Hart, and KCP had themselves some solid games.

kcp lost some steam towards the end but may have saved the game from getting out of hand on at least two separate occasions. hart was strong throughout, and ingram was pretty good all game and really locked in down the stretch. good things.

good to get a win; didn't like hearing the "fracturing" talk after the last game.

An important piece to the puzzle that needs to be figured out is how to keep ball movement to some degree when Lebron is back. That is when we will see the team jump to another level. Luke has a very tough job ahead. I still dont trade any of our young core. This group is just too balanced and fits too well together. This type of ball is so enjoyable to watch.

"Ball Movement"..? There was a stretch where they shot like 16 Threes in a row.

    **Ooops, wrong Thread.

All of this except I would say BI was very good all game. He was our primary playmaker and also managed to be very efficient with his own shots and also rebounded more than usual.

I liked how BI and Kuz looked for each other at the beginning of the first. As a team it was some of the better ball movement I’ve seen. It helped Hart get off to a good start also. They went away from it as the game went on but it’s nice to see that they can do it if they want.

We really should be 3-0 without LeBron...

I'm encouraged by the play of our young core thus far...they'll need to pull out some tough wins without LeBron but let's see what they can do next 4 games that LeBron is likely out (OKC, NYK, @DAL, @MIN). I think we should be able to go 2-2 over that stretch.

Off the top of my head:
    Davis
    Durant
    LeBron
    PG

    Jokic
    Derozan
    Towns
    Doncic
    Gasol
    Adams
    Green

I say the first four are locks. Kuzma may get to top 5 at best in fan voting but players and coaches? Very difficult. But we'll see.

Optimism right? I'd say 3-1 and that's realistic expectations. 2-2 is the worst case scenario. Even 4-0 though remote is possible. Minny is easily beatable, so is the Mavs. NYK is a gift. OKC? PG is playing at home, will get booed heavily the entire time disrupting his rhythm. No PG's offense, the Thunder is screwed.
