Sure. It just gets tiring when you get in that mode, to me.

Same with Zen and the Puke hate.

    My problem.

This was a quality win. We NEEDED this one desperately. This wasn’t one of the games I had circled as a win in November, so right now, it feels like a bonus win. Also, Lillard and McCollum each had 30, so it wasn’t like they had a bad night and it was a fluke. What happened was their crap bench played like they’re supposed to, and that was great to see. So nice especially to see that scrub Nik Stauskas have almost zero impact, go 1-5 and score 3 points in 16 mins. That’s the universe feeling right for a night. Great games from Rondo, McGee, and Hart, and super nice bonus contributions night from Zubac with 9 &8 on 4-5 shooting. Thanks to Luke also for not going with Kuz at the 5 and allowing a guy like Collins to dominate us again.

We won against Portland in Portland. Enough said.

I'll add this though, could you imagine if we lost this game amidst all the pseudo-drama? That could have taken things south in a hurry.

We're only 2.5 games out of the 3 seed.

...and still learning to fit to each other's games? James trying to figure out his younger teammates, picking his spots to score and facilitate?

We now have a good bench 5 in Chandler. Still would want a 4 that will hit the boards and bust opponent's heads.

More optimism: we are gaining confidence, the team continues to gel, Zu shows signs of life and we will beat the best team in the East today. If they don’t play Kawhi, we win by double digits.

Agree it's good with Zu showing signs of life. He becomes excellent Big Man insurance in case of injury to MCG or Chandler. At least as long as he is still here and not traded in some deal. For foul trouble too if they dress all three of them to play against teams with big front lines. So from having zero Big Man backup we all of a sudden are deep with 2 of them and the first being a proven NBA long time pro.

Liked how LeBron picked his moments late against the Blazers to just go to the rack.
He has seemed reluctant to just assert himself in crunch time & we've suffered a few losses because of it.
3 of our losses were by 4 or fewer points. Team is looking very promising.
