    Now obviously we don't know if he's lying (I doubt it) or which players are saying this to him (obviously got to be FAs, right?), but still I DO love the fact that there's players out there who want to be here still.

    If we get that pick, I think we're going to have a really solid rebuild this summer. We might not make the playoffs, but we'll be competitive.

    Just heard a little while ago on ESPN that Byron had some "it hasn't been a great season" for him type remarks about Jordan Hill now as well. Some interview.

    He's a douche. Plain and simple. Unless......by being a douche, he is demoralizing our entire squad to the point where they stop trying and we lose out.

    Seriously? You guys are completely derailing the topic which is: people from other teams want to play here.

    It's fine I guess, but it just turned into a testament to my problem with how we regard Byron at the moment...

    It's a little frustrating that apparently no one read the article!

    I had seen part of it before but just read all of it. Yeah I could see that if it's true that guys are running by the bench and throwing feelers out there toward the Lakers. I don't believe Byron would just make something like that up and lie about it. Also, notably, he acknowledges the importance of that top 5 pick. That has to be the one he is most talking about. Do your part Byron, don't screw it up. [​IMG]

    Byron or no Byron, I was just happy to hear that people around the league still want to come here...

    Now... It could be that Luke Ridnour and Furkan Aldemir are the ones saying they want to be here, but hey who am I to judge? we need help...

    I love the old school insults... God help me I do.

    But really though, this thread isn't even really about Byron. It's about the fact that players around the league still want to come here despite everything.

    Is that not good news?

    I don't think Byron would lie about this, and I do believe him. It's great news. We'll get a high level Free-Agent, pick up a couple of good players in the draft, and be in the playoffs next year.

    I know he wouldn't, but telling us what tier FAs are saying this be nice. It is refreshing to hear it's not as doom and gloom as espn types would have you believe. And that players still value culture and tradition.
