If Brandon Ingram becomes the 2-way guy we have been waiting for, Klay is the guy that fits in perfectly on this team. Lakers need a 2. Going to need his pops to really get into his ear and we need him to at least take a meeting with Mag and Rob.

I honestly think the most likely free agents the Lakers have a shot at are (in order):

    - Kawhi (Raptors would have to lose in the second round, Clippers have to have difficulty attracting a second star and can’t trade for Kawhi this season)
    - Demarcus Cousins (I think he absolutely signs with us, the ball is in the Lakers court to decide if we want to offer a max contract to him. The front office will do their due diligence by checking his health and how he bounces back, but he won’t say no if we make the offer)
    - Durant (I can only see this happening if the Warriors implode. If they win it all again this year there’s 0 chance he comes here).
    - DeAndre Jordan or Marc Gasol (if we strike out with everyone above, I can see us trying to fill out the Center position with a quality big. Make no mistake about it, it will be obvious we need help at center once we watch the games throughout the season. My preference would be Marc over DeAndre even though he’s older. He has multi skill sets while DeAndre will decline athletically as he ages).

durant's a wild card, imo. i could even see him leaving if they win. i won't bet either way.

i agree on cousins. if we offer the cash, i'm sure we get him. but he's got to show something to warrant it.

it's a long season. who thought jimmy butler would be sold for peanuts (it's coming) prior to november?

good news is that we have lebron and a lot of versatile talent in the interim. i'm looking forward to the season.

So who are the available centers, I don't want to have to rely on McGee so much and I'm not trusting Zubac to step up into the starting role if McGee gets injured (knock on wood).

Bynum, Noah (if NYK ever stretches him), and various lower grade options. Emeka Okafor already signed a training camp contract with the 76ers.

Maybe the FO is waiting to see Wagner healthy first. Or they're waiting for Noah to clear.

I know he played well against us but Mason Plumlee last night and watching how he plays would be a great addition or coming off the bench for us. I'm not saying do try and trade for him but he's would be the kind of player I would hope we'd get. Athletic, sets great picks, and can move around well.

I really like the idea of Noah he's a great positional defender and passer. Also he hates LeBron lol

Knicks and cLips stay losing hahaha

    Also I see you Paula...

Try to keep your head (and your skirt) up, homegirl, cause your team D will be way down...probably tucked inward.

So Little P went back because they were a Roberson away from being great. Yeah, good luck with that. Also, I like the Clippers and NY being shut down like this, but that means the C Bags are going to be the East favorites for years to come. We need to get there and meet them in the Finals.

There is also a rumor that Durant sees the Knicks the same way LeBron saw the Lakers, but man I have to have serious doubts about that.

The Lakers made the necessary changes to get here: they settled their ownership issues, built a new practice facility, drafted excellence, and then created the flexibility to be dynamic in the summers.

The Knicks lucked into Knox, Porzingis is an injury issue, and their ownership is still a wild question mark. Their arrow is pointing tentatively up, but not nearly the massive arrow we had the last year or two since Magic/Rob/Jeanie took over.

We'll see, but the landscape could change dramatically this summer. It'll be interesting to see who we're able to nab. If we can grab one more max guy, I'm not scared of anyone, including the C Bags and Warriors. Hell, we may be seeing the Lakers/C Bags rivalry of old for a good number of years.

So Ky verbally committing to the cbags comes out and now this story drops...

Sounds like dude didn't want to be Blake'd... Either way, cLips could be forced to throw a bag at him this summer now and then there goes 1 of their max slots.

harris should have taken the cash, imo. he's risking injury and/or being exposed as someone not worth more than 20 million per.
