Well, the FO realizes how important this is. I find it hard to believe they never had a meeting with Byron and explaining the situation.

Stretch 4? He's really worked at that jumper. He needs to be rewarded. Let's give him about 20 minutes at sg. I think Ellington can give us some minutes at the 5.
Byron is so head strong, I could see him listening and then walking out of Mitch's office with his back turned and middle finger up.

Nah, let's not go overboard. Kelly at the 5. Hill = stretch 4. The rest will follow.

OK. Gotta give props where props are due. Am late in the first quarter Lakes against Nets, watching on time shift. How else can you watch this year? Enduring the commercials is asking too much. But Jabari Brown at the point to replace Clarkson, with Duke still at the 2 is inspired. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Honest. I suddenly have hope. [IMG] [IMG] No offense to Browns everywhere and UPS.

Seriously, it is what logically should be happening in Lakers' position, tanking aside. No hypocrisy involved. Season is shot. Have to play by anti Lakers format of most recent CBA. Young players that can contribute are golden. We know what the vets can do. This is in NBA competition (leaving aside the "tank" of opposing team), not D League competition. Other teams and fans and perception can't even scream, "Tank" at us. Lots of young and 1 season at a time talent needing to be utilized is what the last CBA has made extremely important. Have at it Lakers. Stop being "pusses" about this!!! [IMG]

One game down, ten to go. So far, so good. Clarkson had another solid game. Developing our young players is where it's at right now. Also, Hill is almost too good to play right now.

Sixers actually tied with the Cavs right now.

Yeah. Let's see what happens here. Maybe we have a chance, if they win this game.

Sixers down by 1, have possession, 8 seconds left. Tanking or winning, that's the question.

Well, we really need to lose now. Orlando is knocking at the door but we can catch Philly still 3 less L but 2 fewer games played plus a head to head match next week

I sure hope Lin doesn't start feeling better tomorrow, and that Hill and Wes got their once every couple of weeks blowup game out of their system today. We need a loss in the worst way.

Wouldn't that be funny and terribly sad too if........

ORL overtakes us for the 4th spot, and we move into 5th, but we overtake Philly who goes to the 5th spot and we stay at 4 all along. (MIND BLOWN)

If this were to really happen i'd be pissed because it would have meant are chances at getting #3 spot were there and possible.

I bring bad news. From Mark Medina's latest:

Scott said he will consider playing Hill and Boozer together while sitting Tarik Black and Robert Sacre

Well, crap. Hill doesn't need more minutes, and Boozer shouldn't olay over the young guys. So much for tanking on purpose.

If we play all our best players vs Philly, the Lakers as whole, minus the players, really have no clue what is at stake here.

    Pretty damn stupid IMO.

Unless the Lakers can find a way to pull Hill from playing the Tank is in trouble. he plays too good when he tries.

Yeah, if he sits Lin and Davis again, I could be find with this; I think that's the best case scenario.
