On the basketball side will defer to anyone who knows more about where Noah is now and how much left in the tank he has ..... than I do.

Hasn’t really played or been productive in years. He’s toast. Bynum has more in the tank than this guy.

I'd wouldn't mind offering a vet min contract to Noah. But I doubt he'll take it. I don't think he's ready for that much salary reduction.

Rather offer that to Bynum if that's the route we go.

Thibs ran the dude into the ground, but for a while he was a defensive force.

When big guys start having consecutive knick knack injury issues, I can’t recall a situation where it ever got better. I think he’s basically done.

    He’s basically NY’s Deng

He's currently being paid $18-19 million/yr by the Knicks. He's not getting anything like that from us. He may consider a vet min contract a lowball offer for his services.

When he's waived, all that money is still his though. Deng signed for the minimum in Minnesota (or close to it, I haven't checked), but that money is just off-set by his buy out amount.

IMO Deng is more realistic about his career prospects going forward. Noah recently got into a fight with former Knicks coach Jeff Hornecek that turned physical.

Right now, Noah doesn't see himself as a "washed up" player. And he seems to take it very personal if anybody else thinks he is.

I think Deng is actually similar, just way more mature and professional. Noah has always been an emotional guy. When he was young it was cool, now? It's just sad.

In a way, this kinda implies that dude is gonna remain in Portland for the foreseeable future, right?

Although UCLA Health has an open door policy to any NBA player and alum, that ain't our building. Jackson Center belongs to a super fan if I'm not mistaken.

Also, AD trade rumors are next to nil this year...but there is next year.
