Haven’t started season 2 yet because Ozark has become one of mine, and my friends “wait until we get together to start” shows. Everyone I’ve shown season 1 has loved it.
I'm kind of in the same boat. Loved Season 1 but just haven't been settled down enough to start Season 2. Soon, hopefully..
If you like Making a Murderer did you ever watch the documentary/show - Evil Genius on Netflix? Highly recommend it. I never knew those events in that show actually happened so I think it made the show that much better. Whereas the folks that remember reading it in the news or on TV.
This takes a mindset to watch. I can't binge this like most shows, but damn is it worth it. Some of the best writing I've ever seen on television.
I can understand that. It definitely takes getting used to. The first season is good, but it gets great for me in whatever season Bojack's mom is in. That season was one of the best seasons of a television show I've ever seen.
The episode from Bojack's mom's funeral is fascinating writing. Kudos to Will Arnet and the writing staff for keeping me engaged through it.
And if you’re from Pa, it’s going to hit close to home. I know people like a those figures. The dude in the overalls is basically the same human as my one uncle.
Not on currently, the show ended about a year ago...but if you have HBO Now, stream Vice Principals. Quite possibly my favorite show of all-time. It definitely has its own brand of humor and the first few episodes are mainly there for set-up, but it's a well-written, concise story that pushes the limits of comedy but always leaves you with your sides hurting. Also, it resonates with real life more than you would think. And in my eyes, it includes Walton Goggins' defining role, which says a lot. Another good show in the same vein of dark comedy is Brockmire on IFC. Waiting for season 2 to hit Hulu any day now.
I enjoyed the first season of Vice Principals but I haven't watched any of the 2nd season. Mcbride is awesome in most of the stuff he does in comedy
