Black is in a good role. In fact...

    Lin/Clarkson
    Kobe/Ellington/Brown
    ?/Young
    Hill/Boozer
    Davis/Black

These players are all playing reasonable good roles. I take it we'll have a shakeup at PF, we could use a PG who doesn't go passive when Kobe plays, and we could use a starting SF. (Or a C and reshuffle.)

It's interesting to see how players have moved in and out of the rotation and how they have done with these different looks.

    Our rooks are making moves.

Black has proven to be productive with minutes. Clarkson has been the steal of the draft. Randle looked great before his injury... What if we leave 2014/2015 with three of the best rookies from that year? Not bad, eh?

Looking at PER, Jabari Brown is also in the top 30 right now among rookies. I know it's limited time, but if we just picked up 4 of the top 30 players entering the league this year, that's a huge coup. And I presume we'll add one of the top five and a total of two of the top 30 next season. That's a quick restocking. It's a really exciting group of players.

It really is, I agree 100%. We'll still need a legit, experienced star to lead those guys, but the future looks bright.

It's great that he's playing well and all, but where was this at the start of the year? I don't like it.

This is what pisses me off; also, Clarkson came in and has gradually improved as a ROOKIE under Byron Scott and contributed positively...if a rookie could come in and be a net positive on the basketball court, then I would expect Lin to do the same, take charge, and lead our offense and put people in positions where they need to be successful on the basketball court as the point guard. I've seen more from Clarkson has a basketball player and as a leader than I have from Lin at any point in the season minus his recent sting post ASB.

However, I'd be willing to give it one more shot with Lin on a discount of a deal, and I'm excited about him staring with Clarkson in the backcourt. Also, I do think Byron has been running more pick in roll with Lin, and he (Lin) has benefited tremendously evidenced by the numbers he's been putting up recently.

I share those sentiments. Why couldn't he get this going early on? Kobe? I doubt it - because Kobe missed a lot of time.

It was that Lakers clique of about 6 players where they scapegoated Lin for everything and yelled at him on the floor. Wouldn't even help him up when he was knocked down hard.

Oh wait.....that didn't happen here it was in Houston. Here we all thought he'd be so mentally tough coming in. He and Scott seemed to not be a mutual admiration society as a pair. Maybe that got to him. Who knows.

I'm surprised Brown measures out so poorly in your system.

He's a so-so scorer that doesn't do much else, unfortunately.

Hm... I think he's a decent scorer. He's got 7 points a night on 20 minutes played shooting over 50% from the field and 46.7% from deep.

I do agree he doesn't do much else statistically though.
